March 30, 2019 - Storm King Mountain - 5 years ago, we partnered with @outdoorjournaltour and @merrell for a hike as part of the "We Hike to Heal" campaign. It was, and still is, one of our largest turnouts.

One of my favorite stories to tell is about the food truck that the partners arranged to feed us was thrown out of the lot by the police. While the first officer we spoke to was a loyal Merrell customer and was about to allow us to keep the truck there, the second officer offered clearer instructions and promptly made the truck depart..

Otherwise, it was a cold, spring day - basically a Cold Spring day - and we assembled at the top for a yoga and meditation session headed by @sam.movementmedicine as the wind whipped us.

Later, we did one of our early giveaways, a pair of @merrell boots or sneakers for the winner, @fitterbyritter - not a bad deal...
