“Cartographies of the Imaginary”
Throughout history, artists, scientists, and collectors have imagined impossible museums: spaces capable of bringing together the entirety of human knowledge and offering a coherent image of the world. These personal cosmologies, driven by the desire to reconcile the intimate with the universal, reveal a profoundly human impulse: to understand the place we occupy within a universe that always exceeds our systems of order.
Today, in a time saturated with images, data, and narratives, these attempts feel more necessary—and more fragile—than ever. The artists brought together in this project do not seek to establish a definitive map, but rather to construct sensitive cartographies, emotional archives, and spaces of transition where uncertainty becomes inhabitable. Their imaginary museum does not accumulate objects, but experiences, memories, and affects.
