"A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality". - Y.O

it's been over a year since we threw our first party and the love we've received from dancers, sounds gurus and fellow party planners has affirmed our belief: dancing is a healing force that unites us and unearths the magic of life. Thank you to everyone who has graced us with your presence and support. You make the party 💛

The party started because Grant (@12shades), Rob (@westhambitter) and I yearned for a night that focused on dancing. For me, the dancefloor is a beautiful utopian space where love blossoms and we let the light into our hearts. It's a space where you can be free, authentically express yourself, make friends, find love and hang with strangers. No words are needed - just peace, love and acceptance. The dancefloor is where I found the light in my life, @margoyle_

For me, remedy is a medicine for the dark world we live in. Grant came up with the party's name - remedy (@remedy.bedford) it captures the spirit. There is truly a lack of social, safe spaces and it fills me with happiness to hear about all the friendships growing from the party.

Yoko Ono says, "a dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality." This is my guiding mantra for the party. It's about us, it's about love 💛

Big up to Joe (@goldenloungesoundsystem ) for the beautiful sound and @aidy_west for a magical night of music. Dancing to Herbie with Margot will live long in my heart.

Big big love to grant and rob for being - you guys have brought an immense amount of happiness into my life. Thank you.

A big shout to Zaf and Irfan for backing us. Another post is needed on that!!

Let's bring the light back into life 💛

Love saves the day xx

What is music without sound?

Remedy is intentional about sound: we want you to hear and feel the music - every detail, every frequency. Nothing creates that experience like a high-fidelity sound system.

🔊 Hi-Fi sound systems made legendary New York parties such as The Loft and Paradise Garage gain their iconic status in club history. These parties were known for sound that would invite you to dance. Hi-Fi sound systems were the key ingredient which ignited dancers' imagination to express themselves to the music.

🔥 Next week, Remedy will host the @goldenloungesoundsystem : established in 2018, the Golden Lounge Sound System is a handbuilt analogue system inspired by New York dance culture. The sounds of the Golden Lounge paired with the selections of @aidy_west will bring the feeling of a New York dancefloor to Bedford.

Big up @goldenloungesoundsystem we cannot wait to hear the system at Dom Polaki 🫶

The sixth and (sadly) final festival of the year with my two favourite people @trinations75 and @pete_vella.
Missed a lot of sets I wanted to see due to clashes and the crazy crowds, but still had a great weekend thanks to (amongst many others) @nightmaresonwax, @make.a.dance, @irfanrainy, @aidy_west, @rubysound, @alex__kassian, @bill_brewster, @frank_ink, @prosumerama and our amazing neighbours at the back end of beyond @sas_bonbut and @gabby_ch_.

Now to try and keep hold of all the communal joy I've experienced over the last few months to get me through the winter! ♥️🙏🏻

Amazing times at @weoutherefest 🙌🏽

Highlights were live music from Digable Planets, Arthur Verocai and the Heliocentrics, the @bbemusic takeover at The Grove, and the hub at the @nearmintclub tent and community spirit from all the traders there.

Was loads of fun strolling about and bumping into so many friendly faces ❤️

Another special year trading at @weoutherefest (minus the flags 😂) in the @nearmintclub tent.

In between the magical moments with long term customers, old friends and new, we only managed to capture a few snaps. But we wanted to say a big thank you to Russ, Lisa and the rest of the Near Mint crew

See you all next year! 👊✨
