“If you’ve never had the privilege of being sentimental about a vegetable, then I suggest you plant a garden." writes Kathleen Herald in Green Beans & Grace from Issue 32::TEND. Illustration by @aimeehagertyjohnson 🌿
*Shipping note: We are sorry if your issue hasn’t arrived yet! We use a method of mailing from our printer called co-mailing, which helps keep the cost of shipping down (and therefore subscription prices too!), and also keeps the magazine clean and plastic-free. It means that issues CAN take a few weeks to arrive, though 97% receive it in the first week. We’re always looking for ways to improve our process and your experience as a subscriber while also keeping cost down, so thanks for your understanding until a better solution is found! We hope it arrives soon!

The FIRE issue is here now! ****** Build a fire—in rhyme! Knock sparks out of wood/ Make a matchbox into a peek-a-boo sheep/ And press your cheek against the softest goose. ***** Thank you to all the artists who worked so hard to make amazing art and writing for this issue, which launches our Fabulous Fourth Year. Come see!
