POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Philly, you showed up❤️

82 events across the city, from a fashion show in the SEPTA concourse to woodworking workshops, brewery conversations about modern waterproofing showrooms opening, a 30+ vendor market, and behind-the-scenes tours of a steel factory. That’s DESIGN REVOLUTION in action.

A huge thank you to the sponsors, attendees, vendors, volunteers, and local partners who made it happen. And a special thank you to Forman Arts Initiative for opening your doors and helping us kick off the festival in such a special way.

What makes this festival special is the people behind it. The makers, the designers, the curious neighbors, the small businesses, and everyone who believes Philly is a place where good ideas and good design can take root.

That’s the power of this community. Thanks for being part of it.

A big win for Tulsa🏆💙

Williams Crossing has been named 2026 Bridge of the Year by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and the National Steel Bridge Alliance (NSBA), earning national recognition for the innovation, design, and collaboration behind one of Tulsa’s newest landmarks.

Stretching across the Arkansas River, Williams Crossing has quickly become part of the experience of exploring Gathering Place, River Parks, and Tulsa from a whole new perspective.

This recognition celebrates more than an incredible pedestrian bridge. It highlights the creativity and engineering helping shape Tulsa’s riverfront and create places our community can experience together.

Help us celebrate this exciting recognition by sharing this post with someone who loves Tulsa, and learn more at the link in our bio.

https://dcsquare3d.com/contact-us/ How do you handle base fixity on your sign structures today — full fixity, a spring model, or something in between? We'd genuinely like to hear what your practice does. Usually engineers model the sign structure bolted to a base that doesn't exist -- assuming a perfectly rigid support. The ground is never that honest. For cantilever overhead sign structures, that assumption hides real behavior. Fixed-base restraint over-stiffens the model, shifts your natural frequencies, and quietly changes the fatigue story wind is writing on your connections. The soil is part of the structure. It always was. We just left it off the drawing.

🔔 That's why we're excited about the new Foundation feature in COSS-APP — bringing Soil-Structure Interaction (SSI) into the model from the start. Instead of an idealized fixed base, your STAAD.Pro model can reflect how the foundation and soil actually push back. More realistic stiffness. More honest dynamics. Fewer surprises between analysis and the field. Built by DCSquare3D, Structures Software Development for Bentley Structural Analysis STAAD.Pro. 👉 dcsquare3d.com
