We are so excited to be announcing our lineup for RITV27! Today we continue announcing an author lineup that we are * SO * Proud of!
We are so thrilled that A.J. LEXA will be joining us for a second year!

A.J. Lexa is an adult urban romantasy author whose vivid writing style fuses fierce desire, sharp wit, untamed magic, and the perseverance of the human spirit.

Her debut standalone follows a woman with deadly abilities who discovers she’s the human reincarnation of a zodiac sign. Toss in an opposites attract romance with a morally gray love interest, temptation from a page-stealing villain, a zodiac-driven apocalypse and Greek-inspired lore, and you’re in for an immersive ride to the stars and back.

I picked up a copy of Lines Between Stars by A.J. Lexa from the authors table at a BookCon event in Nashville. The cover caught my eye , the author was super sweet and I was intrigued by the idea of the plot. Fast forward to my actually reading it.....
O...M...G!!! This book blew me away!
I was not expecting this at all. This book is a very well thought out and beautifully written retelling, if you will, of the zodiacs. The knowledge and accuracy of the zodiacs used to build the intricate details and works of magic shows the brilliant mind the author has brought me back to my love of being absorbed in a world. The style reminds me of ACOTAR or Plated Prisoner. And I, like a lot of people am so surprised this is a standalone book. I feel like there could easily be a spin off or an interconnected standalone that pops up at some point. I will definitely be reading more work by @aj.lexa as it pops up for sure!
I definitely recommend this book, especially if you love beautiful world building, magic and have an appreciation for the zodiacs and their powers.

A little story about how our author friendships began!

Almost a year ago, A.J. Lexa and I got accepted to two of the same book events. @aj.lexa

I remember following her page, sending her a message, and thinking, “I want to be her friend lol” Fast forward to today…

We’ve traveled to two events together, attended an author ball, cheered each other on, shared the highs and lows of this crazy publishing journey, and somewhere along the way, we became author besties. (That’s what I call us)

One of my favorite parts of being an author has been discovering that this community isn’t just about books—it’s about the friendships you build along the way. Having a community of authors who understand the late nights, the editing, the excitement of launches, and the nerves before events is something I’ll always be grateful for.

Here’s to taking a chance on sending that first message… because you never know when it might lead to a lifelong friendship.

You’re the A.J. Thanks for being one of the best parts of this journey.
