Chapter 2 🇬🇷 Ancient Olympia 🏺Ionian Sea 🌊 Fire 🔥 deepening into process 🏔️✨

Much more to say about this chapter 📖 plots unfurl…

At Ancient Olympia an olive tree communicated with me much clearer than the historic ruins did. 🌿🍂 It beckoned me to its shade and an exchange happened as it taught me about its dignified role in ancient Greek society 🥇

The museum was so well curated - see how they gathered fragments of hair from bronze statues ✨

“It’s warm! The sea is so warm!”🦦🌊

singing @catelisabethevans through the pain of sanitizing her blisters that she got from running barefoot in the olympic stadium 🏃‍♂️💥

Fire 🔥 being itself 🥵 (this reminded me of how good it was to take @theafricanheartist ‘s Serpentine class before this trip 🐍)

Getting to know Blanco the shy sweet stray dog they’ve adopted at @another_way.poretsou_monastery 🐕🐾

Being supported to work towards showing drawings at a vernissage for the first time ever 🎨🧚🏼‍♀️

Got to read another version of Tao Te Ching 🪨

Last year, we launched a Mural Competition giving one lucky artist the chance to win £500 cash, premium tickets to a show at Vaillant Live and have their design installed on the building for all to see.

We received a lot of great applications, but after a lot of deliberation we're delighted to announce that Syahi, from Syahi Studios is our winner! Massive congratulations - your design is truly incredible and will make the building not only look great but also feel part of the local community!

Huge congratulations also goes to our finalists, Rebecca Morledge and Anna Boyd, for their brilliant entries.

We'll keep you posted on developments of the installation of Syahi's design and when the big unveiling will be.
