Needed to do some truck and camper maintenance (not pictured: shower curtain rod ripping off out of the fiberglass ceiling and bending, the outside stair handle ripping out, water pump issue, and truck engine light on) so spent a little under a week in and around the Bozeman area. All sorts of fun, social, July events mixed in with some good ole classic western vibes. Thanks for the fun Bozeman friends but it’s time to get out of the city and back to remote camper working.

Smoking turkey legs don’t get much love. Too many tendons, too many bones, and not a lot of easy meat. But if you’ve ever walked around a fair with a smoked turkey leg in your hand, you know there’s something to it. That kind of flavor is hard to argue with.

Most folks go the slow-cook route, and for good reason. But we wanted to see what a little time and smoke could do. Turns out, it’s worth the effort.

Roasts is back, and this time we pinned two veterans against each other. Will a background as an officer in the Army or experience as a Marine pave the path to winning?

Play a song about a woman digging for her AirPods in a porta potty…somehow end up on tour with a lot of new friends. @meateater - that was FUN.

Roasts is back, hungry as ever. For this Thanksgiving throwdown, Alex and Logan go head-to-head to see who can turn a hunk of caribou into the kind of dish you’d happily give thanks for.
