Last month we had a special screening of YOU COULD’VE BEEN A NURSE at Pixar Studio @pixar in Emeryville, CA.   Being on the Pixar campus was so inspiring, and it was a dream to share our film in a place where so many beloved stories have been brought to life. Big, heartfelt thank you to Pixar University and Pixnoy for sponsoring the screening; to @a.m.beall for thoughtfully moderating our Q&A (and picking up a pencil to draw for our kiddos!); to @bradbudokan, Sam, and Jojo for hosting our cast and crew; and to all the Pixar employees and dear friends who joined us to watch the film. What a special experience! ✨ #youcouldvebeenanurse #ycbanfilm #pixar #pixnoy #shortfilm

TBT to a Fantastic #fpac hosted by @filamartsla #balangay from Islands to Infinity festival. What an amazing event! It was an honor to get to host with one of my favorites @j2therizzo, see so many talented Pinoy artists and connect with amazing people in the Filipino community! Thank you so much for having me, it was a highlight of my year! We even got to meet the creators of the new Dreamworks movie Forgotten Island by @joel.crawford.art @janimatedultd And I fan girled. You guys are the GOAT. Thank you for making such an incredible, heartwarming, magical and funny film. It amplifys our culture in a way I’ve never seen, and also tells an important story that is timeless and will resonate over generations and cultures… forever. I got to see an early screening with my family and I laughed, I cried and I am shouting it from the rooftops for everyone to see it. We need more stories like this! And I’m so proud that this film exists! maraming salamat. Speaking of… Forgotten Island opens this week and don’t walk, run to the theater to sell it out! Tomorrow @filipinaontherise is doing a collab with @filamartsla @filipinxactorsbarkada @kapwakollektive @fivepointfivebrewing we will be @fivepointfivebrewing in El Segundo at 6 pm for happy hour and then we are selling out the theater in El Segundo for the 9 pm screening.
