Critical Relationships—Experimentation Alyssa Powell @alyss_arts I thoroughly enjoyed doing this experimentation assignment. It brought me back to the creative joy I had as a child, something that I often forget to remember and nurture. The act of physically mark-making and not taking time to plan out a result was very freeing. I also got to use up a lot of scraps and stickers that I normally would have let go to waste. The whole process was freeing compared to my normal workflow, and I loved having a physical piece to capture at the end. I prefer not having a strict plan and letting myself freely create, but sometimes doing client work doesn’t allow me to do this. I will definitely be doing this process again whenever I feel creatively burnt out or when I see that my work is lacking quality of craft.
