Rest is not something we earn. It’s a fundamental part of well-being. Many of us spend our days in a constant state of doing—moving from one task to the next without ever giving our nervous system a chance to fully settle. Gentle yoga, acupuncture, and sound-bath each have growing bodies of research suggesting they can support relaxation and nervous system regulation. When thoughtfully combined, they can help create an environment where the body is better able to rest, recover, and restore. This experience isn’t about “fixing” yourself. It’s about creating space for your body to do what it already knows how to do when given the opportunity to slow down. We’d love to share this afternoon with you.🙏 Reserve your place through the link in our bio. ••• #sfevents #sanfrancisco #restandrelaxation #soundhealingmeditation #acupuncture

Glow Club Social with @shaped.sf was such a fun experience ✨ SHAPED AF is a wellness and body sculpting studio in San Francisco specializing in lymphatic drainage, body contouring, facials, and self care treatments focused on helping you feel confident and refreshed. 💆🏻‍♀️💖 Loved getting to experience the wellness side of Shaped AF while connecting with other Bay Area creators. I got my nails done by @look.at.me.sf, tried the aura machine with @selfishlyaesthetics, got ear seeds from @akaraintegrative, and even got a vitamin B12 shot from @thehydrationroom. Definitely one of the most relaxing and empowering wellness events I’ve been to in SF. If you’ve been looking for lymphatic drainage, body sculpting, facials, or wellness treatments in San Francisco, definitely check out Shaped AF Body & Skin Lounge San Francisco 👀✨ Loved the goodies from @bloom @bloomsupps @oxygenceuticals @higherdose @immunotec @isclinical @tubbytodd @hydropeptide @byroe_official @hydrinity_skincare @eatuncracked @dream.recovery @tostbeverages 💕 #bayarea #sanfrancisco #creator #wellness #event

Beginning November 1st, AKARA Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine will be taking over the Back to Health practice in San Francisco. From the moment I met the AKARA team, I recognized the same dedication to thoughtful, whole-person healing that has always guided my own work. Their approach integrates acupuncture, nutrition, and collaborative wellness in much the same way we have — attentive, grounded, and personal. Over the past months, I’ve had the pleasure of mentoring and guiding the team to ensure a seamless transition, and I am confident you will feel that same sense of connection, skill, and care that you’ve always known here. While the name “Back to Health” will no longer continue as a separate brand, you may see a brief co-branded transition period before everything fully moves under AKARA Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine. I’ll be offering a few final appointment times during the first two weeks of November. Lauren and Dr. Yen will join these sessions so you can meet them personally and ensure a seamless handoff of care. Same space, same intention: The physical location will continue to offer the same focus on your health needs, and you’ll be welcomed by the AKARA team, who share the values and approach we’ve built together. My role going forward: While I am stepping away from my daily practice, I will remain affiliated for a short time as a consultant and mentor to AKARA, helping to ensure the transition is easy, supportive, and aligned with our values of holistic healing. A note of deep gratitude: I want to say simply — thank you. It has been one of the great privileges of my life to walk with you on your health journey, to listen, to learn, to witness your growth and healing. Carrying your trust and allowing me to be part of your wellness path means more than words can express. As I move into a new chapter — spending time by the coast, reflecting, exploring new ideas — it feels right to hand the reins to a team I believe wholeheartedly in, so that you can continue to thrive, heal, and grow under exceptional care. With heartfelt gratitude and confidence in your continued well-being, Joelle
