Meet Scooby! 🐕 He urgently needs a home! With the brightest smile and a tail that never stops wagging, this goofy boy is ready to steal your heart. Scooby is currently a star student at Zoom Room training, mastering sit, lie down, wait, touch, and nose work - all while politely ignoring other dogs like a total pro! 👏🏼 Why You’ll Love Scooby: Personality: Eager to please, gentle with treats, and completely melts into a pile of mush for chin scratchies. Dog & Human Friendly: Great with female dogs, respects personal space, and takes direction wonderfully. Playful & Smart: Equal parts clever student and lovable goofball! Scooby is available for adoption through Friends of Anson County Animal Shelter in North Carolina. His profile is featured on the homepage at pupprofile.org. Go check it out to learn more about Scooby! Share this post to help good boy Scooby find his forever home! 🩵🐾 @acasadvocates #adoptdontshop #rescue #foster #saveshelterdogs

245 days. That’s how long Scooby had been waiting before he got a shelter break. Scooby arrived at the shelter on November 12, 2025, and 245 days later, he’s still holding onto hope. He has not given up, and his team of volunteers, staff, and trainers won’t give up on him either. We know he is a great dog! Despite spending 245 days in the shelter, Scooby still greets people with a wagging tail, a hopeful heart, and a toy in his mouth. He still believes his person is out there. At just 2 years old and 62 pounds, Scooby is sweet, cuddly, and happiest when he’s close to his favorite human. He wants to please, loves affection, and if you toss him a toy, you’ve just become his new best friend. 🧸🤎 Scooby has done well around small children. He prefers female dogs and can be selective with male dogs. Scooby is heartworm positive, but there’s great news—his heartworm treatment has already been funded! Now he just needs a foster home where he can safely complete his treatment. It’s a temporary commitment that could change his life forever. Giving up just isn’t in Scooby’s blood. After 245 days, he’s still choosing hope every single day. Now he just needs someone to choose him. Could you foster? Adopt? Rescue? Even sharing his story could help him find the home he’s been waiting so patiently for. 🐾 Scooby 🩵 2 years old ⚖️ 62 pounds ✂️ Neutered ❤️ Heartworm positive (treatment funds raised!) 🏡 Needs a foster to complete treatment #AdoptScooby #FosterScooby #ShelterDog 🩷 Anson County Animal Shelter, Polkton, NC 🤝 501c3 nonprofit operating county shelter ☎️ Phone: 704-994-2738 📧 Email: info@ACASFriends.org 🔗 ACASFriends.org 📲 Follow us * Facebook: Friends of Anson County Animal Shelter * IG: @acasadvocates

🚨Max needs our help.🚨 Yesterday, a very sick puppy was found outside of Tractor Supply. Out of pure desperation to get him help, his owner kissed him goodbye, wrapped him in a warm shirt and diapers, and left him in front of the store—hoping someone would be able to save him. Thankfully, Tractor Supply called Animal Control, and the puppy was brought into our care. We named him Max. Upon intake, it was immediately clear that Max was very, very sick. He was rushed to VEG in Charlotte so a vet team could determine what was wrong. The good news: he tested negative for parvo. The bad news: his tiny body is overwhelmed with intestinal parasites, and he is now so weak that he needs a blood transfusion to have a chance at surviving. With our shelter discount, the cost of his emergency care is $2,600. Max is just a 3-month-old puppy. He didn’t deserve this, and he deserves a chance to live. We are asking to please help us raise the $2600 in funds to save his life. Every single dollar helps, and every share matters. If you’re able to donate, please do. If not, please share Max’s story. Let’s give this little fighter the chance he was hoping for when he was left there for help. 🙏Fundraiser link in our bio for Max. If donating via PayPal or Venmo, please note that your donation is for Max. Huge thank you to @akemijo for rushing Max to VEG in Charlotte and staying with him. 🙏❤️ 📍 Anson County Animal Shelter in Polkton, NC 🥰 501c3 nonprofit operating the rural county, open intake shelter for Anson County, NC ☎️ Phone: 704-994-2738 📧 Email: info@acasfriends.org 📲 Follow us for daily updates and needs: • Instagram: @acasadvocates • Facebook: Friends of Anson County Animal Shelter 🔗 Visit our website for more info at: www.acasfriends.org

Meet Snoop 💔🐾 Snoop was surrendered with his buddy Tip, and ever since, his eyes have been telling a quiet story—one of longing for more than life behind kennel doors. The shelter is loud and overwhelming, and spending long hours surrounded by barking dogs has been especially hard on him. You can see the stress melt away the moment he steps outside the noise. Away from the chaos, Snoop is an absolute sweetheart. He loves walks, runs, and soaking up affection, and he would thrive in a home where he can stretch his legs, burn off energy, and then curl up for some quality cuddle time. Snoop is: 🐶 3 years old 🐾 53 lbs ❤️ Neutered & heartworm negative 🏡 Recommended for a dog-only home ✨ Curious, silly, and sweet And yes—part of his ear is missing, but we think it only makes him more special. It’s a little reminder that he’s one of a kind and perfectly imperfect. Snoop doesn’t belong in a kennel. He belongs in a home—or at least a quiet foster—where he can finally relax and be the loving dog he truly is. Please consider rescuing, fostering, or adopting Snoop. He’s waiting, hoping, and ready to give his whole heart to someone who will give him a chance. 💙 Friends of Anson County Animal Shelter 📍Polkton, NC Website: www.acasfriends.org Email: info@acasfriends.org Phone: (704) 994-2738
