2003：坐在电视机前看 F1。
2026：坐在 Sepang 看 F1。
有些故事，真的需要二十多年才能写完。

回想起小时候的我就是通过电视台观看F1的直播赛事依稀记得当时是通过RTM2台观看的🤣

当时看到F1赛车觉得很酷很帅，各种超车的moment 各个车队之间的进站加油量策略(没错以前的F1是能进站加油的）轮胎硬度选择 V10引擎的咆哮轰鸣声种种因素都让我慢慢的迷上了F1这项运动

由始至终一直支持着法拉利车队经历了Schumacher Raikkonen Massa Alonso Vettel 到现在的Leclerc & Hamilton时代一直支持着他们的心从未改变（虽然好久没拿冠军了啊啊啊啊啊）

真的就这样不知不觉一看就是二十多年了

小时候从来没认真想过
“有一天我也要去现场看一场 F1”

但今年我真的来了

可能很多人会说
“啊现场F1有啥好看的？不需要顶着大太阳酷热天气或淋雨，在家开着冷气坐在屏幕前舒舒服服的看F1不香吗？”

但我想说来到现场后才发现
原来电视里的 F1 ，和现场的 F1 ，真的完全不一样

不只是赛车在你面前呼啸而过的声音
更震撼的是——
你会发现身边有一大群人和你一样喜欢这项运动
现场有不同种族和不同国际的外国人大家都支持喜欢不同的车队和车手甚至可能互相“看不顺眼“🤣

但当车手出现在赛场时整个看台都会为车手们欢呼🥳

明明正赛下午3点才开始但是早上九点到Hill Stand时已经是挤得水泄不通了甚至在小红书上看到有车迷凌晨五六点已经到现场等待真的太疯狂了！

那一刻突然觉得：
原来我小时候坐在电视机前喜欢的东西
也一直被这么多人热爱着

而正赛更是把戏剧行直接拉满了🙈
明明星期五和星期六的练习赛排位赛都没下雨
偏偏到星期天正赛开始前的半小时竟然下起了大雨🌧️

一下雨的那一刻简直把现场的气氛给点爆了🥳🥳🤣🤣

一个赛道上能触发的所有状况这一次在Sepang赛道几乎全都出现了🙈🤯

确实不能否认
这三天真的很累（现场看F1真是个体力活懂得都懂）现场真的很晒很热🥵（本人已经中sun burn)

但如果你问我
值得吗？

Absolutely

因为有些东西
小时候喜欢了二十多年
长大以后终于亲眼见到一次
那一刻你才会发现——
原来所谓的“圆梦”
不是梦想真的有多大
而是那个小时候的自己终于等到了这一天❤️

The Hennessy MyWay competition is back, and here are the Top 9 Malaysia Semi-Finalists! Some I met before, some I haven’t. All young young cute cute wan. Don’t bully them when you go to their bar, ok?

Each semi-finalist got to work with a mentor who is also a MyWay alumni. Ahead of the Semi-Finals, each mentor and his semi-finalists took part in a series of Guest Shifts across Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Johor.

At each guest shift, the public got to vote for their favourite cocktail, and the highest-voted entry at each stop got an extra 10 points heading into the Semi-Finals.

The first group – Rendey Ray (Rhu Bar, Langkawi), Fil Tan (Junipers & Vins, Penang), and Ho Yan Ching (Haiiro Usagi, Johor) – was mentored by Oh “Every Drink Must Have Side Dish” Chong Hau Of The Nest (also 2025 Malaysia Hennessy MyWay champ), and did a guest shift at The Nest Cocktail Bar, Penang, on July 3, with Yan Ching emerging as the winner.

Next up was regular Hennessy MyWay mentor Ash “KL Classics King” Arsenio of Bar None and his gang – Ong Qin Yen (The Nest, Penang), Richard Samuel (Rimbar, KL), Yee Min Lui (Cabinet 8 KL) – who took over Bar None on July 7, with Yee Min winning this round.

Last but not least, was 2025 Indonesian champion Arya “Sorry, I Don’t Know You Well Enough To Give You A Nickname” Dharmayasa of L’Atelier by Cyril Kongo, Kempinski Bali, who took Camen Chung (Conti’, Kuala Lumpur), Loo Hong Xiang (WPS, Selangor), and the eventual winner of the round, Lee Ai Cxing (The Nest) to Hairo Usagi in Johor Baru on July 10.

All eyes will now be on the semi-finals on Aug 10, where all 9 of them have to present a NEW Hennessy VSOP creation, and only six of them will advance to the Regional Finals on Aug 12.

From there, one Malaysian Champion, alongside either a Vietnamese or Philippine Champion, will earn their place at the Hennessy MyWay Global Finals in France.
