Royal Rising Kin,

My hair has begun its washing process after the unbraiding😅😅😅 Had to ensure I went to @mandelagrocery (Black worker owned✊🏾) to get a great bottle of @alaffia at a great price! Per usual, was greeted by a joyful and charismatic staff, by the people, for the people! And I am slightly more ready for my hair appointment with the BEST BRAIDER IN THE BUSINESS @_beecrowned !!! Bee knows Bubba best so make sure when you schedule your hair appointments it’s with someone that actually cares about you and your hair!

Your non-toxic shower routine glow-up 🚿✨

Swipe through all 5 swaps — shampoo & conditioner, body wash, bar soap, razor, and shaving cream — with exactly what to skip and what to reach for instead.

Save this so you have it next time you’re restocking your shower shelves, and send it to the friend who’s been wanting to make the switch but doesn’t know where to start.

So honored to sit down with @karagoldin on The Kara Goldin Show. We talked about building Alaffia with cooperatives in West Africa, what real fair trade looks like, and the lessons I learned getting the company back. Thank you Kara for such an honest conversation. Listen now, link in my bio. #TheKaraGoldinShow #Alaffia #FairTrade

What a joy to be at the @wholefoods Center Store Rally yesterday! 🧼✨

I was honored to speak with the team about my journey and introduce our new Good Soap body washes, launching at Whole Foods Market next month.

Good Soap is fragrance-forward and joyful, and seeing the team’s excitement for it made my day. I also got to meet so many team members, hear their thoughts, and share more about the women and communities behind @alaffia .

Whole Foods Market has been Alaffia’s partner for many years. Together, we’ve brought our products to more people and created meaningful opportunities for the women who make this work possible. That partnership has meant so much to me through the good years and the difficult ones. 💛

Thank you to Dan Epley, David Lafferty, [@jacob], [@kelly], and the whole Whole Foods Market team for welcoming us. A special thank you to @izzyfrancois and Keith for putting together such an awesome reveal of the new Good Soap line!

So grateful for what we’ve built together and excited for you to discover Good Soap body washes next month. Stay tuned!
