Feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude after the HOF festivities.

Gratitude for the University of Maryland.
Gratitude for how my people always show up for me.
Gratitude for all the love.
Gratitude for the game of basketball.
Gratitude for my family.

Basketball has gifted and afforded me many things, but nothing am I more thankful for than the people it has put in my life.

This was the first major life event that my Mom wasn’t here for. Although her physical presence was missed terribly, I felt her with me every step of the way, surrounded by so much love.

From January 19–24, 2027 Hangzhou will host a festival of basketball, culture and entertainment at Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium

From Hangzhou’s West Lake, Project B Co-Founders Russell Westbrook and Alana Beard, and Project B player and partner Li Meng mark the beginning of a new chapter.

The new world of ball begins here.

🗣️:”Srbija ima neverovatnu košarkašku kulturu i dugu istoriju razvoja igrača i trenera koji razumeju igru na najvišem nivou.

Već sada možemo da vidimo tu povezanost unutar Projecta B. Anđela Dugalić deo je našeg rastućeg rostera i predstavljala je Srbiju na najvećim međunarodnim scenama. Igor Kokoškov vodi razvoj igrača i donosi izuzetno iskustvo iz evropske i svetske košarke.

Project B se gradi kao zaista globalna platforma. Želimo da najbolji igrači iz celog sveta igraju zajedno, a Srbija je apsolutno važan deo tog globalnog košarkaškog pejzaža.”

🗣️:”Najveća razlika je u tome što Project B od samog početka gradimo oko sportiste.

Naši igrači nisu samo učesnici u Projectu B. Oni su partneri i vlasnici, imaju vlasnički udeo u poslovanju i stvaran glas u onome što gradimo. Verujemo da sportisti treba da budu u centru sportske industrije i da struktura poslovanja to treba da odražava.

Globalni smo od prvog dana. Najbolje igrače sveta dovodimo u kultne gradove, susrećemo se sa navijačima tamo gde se oni nalaze i činimo igru dostupnom publici širom sveta.

Počinjemo sa ženskom košarkom jer verujemo da ona predstavlja jednu od najvećih prilika u globalnom sportu danas. Želimo da stvorimo još jednu značajnu scenu za najbolje igračice sveta i da zajedno sa njima razvijamo igru.”

Just as most of the teams were arriving in Berlin for the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup, Project B dropped the big news that Russell Westbrook was being named a co-founder and appointed chief strategy officer

Just 48 hours later - While not as big a deal, it was still a well-timed one. Project B announced that it would hold a training camp in Seoul, for a week
in January of 2027

Today a raft of new players were announced on Thursday, quarter finals day at the FIBA Women’s World Cup.
