July was pure joy!

I always joke I’m locked in baby jail but last month I broke out and had more fun outings than I’ve had in the last 4 years combined.

I had the MOST fun with my childhood girls for my first overnight since Elia was born, Anthony and I had a kid free date weekend, we had our annual safari supper with our neighbours, my brother in law opened the amazing @baroriginca in Burly, and of course these tiny cuties sure keep me smiling like Daxy taking a school bus for a field trip (😭!!) and the masterpiece from my little puppeteers.

Heart so full, thanks July! 🫶🏼

Such a fun day at @alanalegerwellness annual wellness event yesterday. 💕

One of my favourite parts of the day wasn’t the breathwork, the movement session, or even getting to spend the day with great friends (although all of those were amazing).

It was hearing Alana talk about her very first wellness event.

A few years ago, at her very first event, only 3 people showed up. But she gave that small group the exact same energy, heart, and attention that she gives today.

Fast forward to now, and her annual wellness day has grown into something truly special.

Watching a friend build a business from an idea into a thriving community is such a reminder that success rarely happens overnight. It comes from showing up, staying consistent, and continuing to believe in what you’re creating. Even when the audience is small.

So proud of you, Alana. 💕 And grateful to spend the day surrounded by incredible women, all dressed in pink, cheering each other on.

Keep showing up. You never know what those small beginnings might become.

A day designed for women to slow down, reconnect, and be cared for.

From sound bowl healing, breathwork, movement, acupuncture, mini treatments, tarot readings, flowers, and holistic wellness products, every detail was thoughtfully curated to nourish the body, mind, soul, and energy.

Guests enjoyed smoothie bowls, beverages, tacos, meaningful conversations, and a beautiful courtyard filled with incredible local vendors.

Grounding, uplifting, and inspiring, this was the ultimate Women & Wellness Day hosted by @alanalegerwellness , and we were proud to be a vendor providing services.

Grateful to have met all the participants and vendors. Thank you to @alanalegerwellness for curating such a special day.

Yesterday at @alanalegerwellness event I was reminded me why I do this. 💛

Not because of the cold plunge.
Not because of the sauna.
Not because of the smoothies, the flowers, or the beautiful space.

Because of the people.

Today was a field full of women who chose to give themselves permission to pause. To breathe. To connect. To do something that nourished them instead of something that simply filled another spot on the to-do list.

I watched conversations happen between strangers that felt like old friendships.

I watched women do hard things, cheer each other on, laugh, reflect, and leave a little lighter than when they arrived.

So often we think nourishment is only about food.

But nourishment is also being seen.
It’s feeling supported.
It’s having space to hear yourself think.
It’s sharing a meal, a conversation, a moment of courage, or a quiet breath.

Thank you to every woman who came to the booth, grabbed a smoothie or conversation.
You reminded me that community is medicine.
This is exactly the kind of world I want to help create.

A place where people can come as they are, take a deep breath and remember what it feels like to BE nourished.
