🌕Yesterday was a powerful full moon, and this weekend we moved with it as part of our Feral Movement initiative.

Together, we honored the sisterhood by gathering ourselves and meeting the energy of the moon with intention.

We intentionally came together to support survivors and women healing from some of the hardest experiences, including sex trafficking survivors and those impacted by domestic violence, creating space to help release stored, stagnant energy in the body and in the psyche.

We began with a beautiful cleansing and Cacao offering, then moved into mudra practice using our hands. From there, we shifted into voice work to activate the throat, loosening what’s been held, and then we moved together through yoga and embodied motion.

We received the gift of sound, community, and being witnessed.

Thank you to everyone who came together with the same intention: to heal the self, the sisterhood, and in turn, our communities.

We’re already looking forward to the next one, continuing to work with the power of all that is the Feral Woman, together.

🌕 Full Moon Release 🌕
For women the world attempted to break.

An evening of healing for women overcoming abuse and injustice- held through movement, sound, sisterhood, and rewilding.

This is a private, curated gathering for a small group of women navigating experiences of domestic violence, trafficking, and abuse.

This is a space to be witnessed, supported, and reminded of your internal, primal strength.

✨ Yoga & Sound Bath led by Anaiiz Molina and Veronica Desoyza
✨ Cacao offering & small bites by Chef Aricia Alvarado

🌕 Why the Full Moon?

Under June’s Strawberry Full Moon, we gather in alignment with a natural cycle long used across cultures to mark reflection, rest, and renewal. The moon’s rhythm mirrors cycles of release and regeneration within the human body, especially in relation to healing and emotional processing.

This is a moment to slow down, release what feels heavy, reconnect with self, and be held in community, honoring women, resilience, and the ongoing cycles of healing and becoming.

📍 Arts District, Los Angeles
(The exact address will be shared with registered attendees the day before the event.)

📩 This is a free, private event. Space is extremely limited.

Welcome to The Alta. A project years in the making. Last night we opened our doors for a preview of what’s to come as we celebrate the @altamedart collection of over 4,000 pieces of Chicano and Mexican art. A collection that has been curated over 40 years and adorned our clinic walls throughout LA and OC. Now, we share the collection not just with our patients and healthcare workers, but the world. The Alta is a space for community and healing through art. What an honor it is to be part of it all 💫 La cultura cura 💫

Thank you to my team @altamedfoundation and my colleagues @altamedart @altamedhealths for the dedication and tireless work that got us here.

Thank you to the @cityofmontebello for your partnership in bringing this site to life for our community

Thank you to @cortes11cortes and @michelecortes_ for creating another beautiful space for us with @vincorinc

We can’t believe it’s been a month since we partnered with Alchemy Kitchen to raise support for our new FERAL Movement initiative.

The evening brought together seasonal ingredients, unforgettable flavors, and meaningful connection around the table, while helping raise funds to empower survivors to take their bodies back through somatic yoga, healing practices, and self-defense.

Thank you to Chef Aricia for sharing your birthday and Alchemy Kitchen with us.

Thank you as well to the FERAL team members who were in the kitchen helping bring these meals to life.

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who joined, supported, and celebrated with us.

Sunday was Human Trafficking Prevention Day, a date that has held deep significance for us since the inception of our organization. We intentionally chose this day to hold our first official FERAL Feminine program, in partnership with @apexprotectionproject and @castlosangeles .
There is something profoundly healing about witnessing the parallels in the missions of rescuing wolves and supporting women, both reclaiming their power, both reminding us of what’s possible when safety, reverence, and community are present.

FERAL Feminine: Wolves marks the beginning of a sacred offering devoted to women’s reconnection, remembrance, and reclamation of power through embodiment, nature, and collective care.

Wolves called us as our guides because they embody what many women are taught to suppress: instinct, intuition, boundaries, loyalty, and fierce protection of the pack. They model healing through relationship, leadership through cooperation, and strength rooted in connection rather than dominance.

In their presence, a powerful group of women leaders were invited to remember their own instincts-to trust their inner voice, reclaim their sense of safety, and reconnect with the wild, wise part of themselves that knows how to lead, protect, and belong.

We were honored to highlight a woman leading our nation in the fight against human trafficking and modern-day slavery, Kay Buck. For over 21 years, she has worked relentlessly to help victims and survivors be rescued and receive the support they need to heal.

The last five years have been especially challenging.

More on her work and impact in our next post.
