In May, while starting to navigate profound sense of loss of belonging, home, family, community, work—I signed up for three weeks of breathwork training.

I thought I would simply go & breathe.

Instead, I found myself immersed in a journey of learning, self-exploration, and reconnection.

In my temporary home, a large tent at Asha School of Healing Arts in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, close enough to some trully magical wider nature.

The first week focused on the Alchemy Regulation Method, exploring how breathwork can support nervous system regulation.

The following two weeks were devoted to breathwork practice & training to become a breathwork coach.

It was an intense time of turning inward, meeting myself honestly, showing up raw & authentic, allowing space for what was alive.

There was connection with others, too—not needing to be everything or become a community, but enough for some meaningful new relationships to take root.

There were those familiar pieces of the puzzle— parts of myself, my past, my learning, my experience. Some finding new clarity, some being refined, some redefined. All of them weaving into the tapestry of who I have been & who I am becoming.

I still have months of integration and practice ahead before certification. The learning continues long after the training itself.

Another tool in my toolbox. Another thread in the tapestry. Another step in an unfolding that I cannot yet fully see.

When I signed up for these three weeks, I kept telling myself—and everyone else—that my life was more or less planned and scheduled until the second half of October. And after that, unknown. As the unknown is here, now it's somehow unsettling...

Yet I leave with gratitude, a little tenderness&that familiar low feeling that follows an intense experience.

Knowing this, too, is part of the process: allowing everything to settle, without rushing to know what it all means, or what the next steps shall be...

Just breathing... 🌿...inviting deeper trust

This Breathwork session was so powerful.

Here is the poem read at the end:

Life is amazing.
And then it’s awful.
And then it’s amazing again.
And in between the amazing and the awful,
it’s ordinary and mundane and routine.
Breathe in the amazing, hold on through
the awful, and relax and exhale
during the ordinary. That’s just living.
Heartbreaking, soul-healing, amazing,
awful, ordinary life. And it’s
breathtakingly beautiful.

✨ Feeling Grateful ✨

To everyone who has booked in with me and invested in their own journey over these last four years — thank you. Your trust, your courage, and your willingness to show up for yourselves means everything.

A memory came up today reminding me that it’s been four years since that October day in 2022 when I graduated as a Breathwork Facilitator with Alchemy of Breath @alchemyofbreath.
My first ever Breathwork course. It turned out to be so much more than I expected.

I began the training just a year and a half after losing my late husband, in the middle of huge life changes. I joined the course for my own healing, never imagining I would go on to facilitate Breathwork sessions, workshops, events, and retreats. Back then I was shy, had low self‑esteem, poor boundaries, and always put myself last. That year‑long journey changed me in ways I’m still grateful for.

I’m forever thankful for the teachers, mentors, study buddies, everyone who took part in my case studies, and my family who supported me (especially helping with my children so I could complete the course) Eternally grateful ✨🙏🏻

The journey continues.
I love witnessing beings on their path, it’s an honour, and I’m thankful for every person who trusts me to walk alongside them.

Feeling grateful, always.

🌎BREATHING THE WORLD TOGETHER 🌎

There is something extraordinary about coming together through the breath, beyond borders, beyond language, beyond all the things that make us feel separate.

As an @alchemyofbreath trainer it’s a true honor, this Sunday, to be facilitating Breathe the World, connecting with beautiful souls from across the globe in a shared experience of breath, presence, and remembrance.

Every time we gather, I’m reminded that the breath is a bridge back to ourselves…and to one another.

And before we meet across the world, I’ll be bringing this work to Dark Lotus Yoga in Nesconset on Saturday night for the 10/10 Portal: Breathwork, Sound & Angelic Healing with Billy.

Two gatherings this weekend. One breath. So much possibility.

Message me for details on either experience. Or comment BREATH below. 👇

Alchemy of Breath Live Residential Facilitator Training, ASHA Centre, Toskana.
