HELLO SUMMER....
The sun came out to play
In it's full glory,
Blazing with no apologies....
Where are those with the summer slay?
Hiding in the shade or baking in the sun.
I know the sun and the sun knows me.
From my tropical childhood a bond we made.
Now I say come what may,
Hello sunshine, welcome and make me shine.....

This Saturday I’m going to be part of a panel discussion as part of the National Writers’ Conference with Writing West Midlands.

I and two other writers will be talking about our experiences balancing our creative writing with our other life commitments, and some of the kinds of support that have helped us to maintain our practise.

Conference tickets are from £40 but bursaries are available if needed, link in my bio to book.
