Opened the studio doors last weekend to celebrate Riverside Modern with the clients and friends who've supported our work over the years. It was a really special afternoon, and lovely to have so many familiar faces in the room. Thank you all for coming ✌️

Thanks again to @mitcheltonwines for supporting the Melbourne launch events, and for generously offering a night away at their gorgeous winery for one lucky guest. We'll be in touch with the winner soon.

Vincent Van Duysen Designs a Secluded Sanctuary in Portugal

Guided by his principle of reduction — stripping things back until only what is necessary remains — Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen has envisioned JNcQUOI Club Comporta as a place of harmony, slowness and material honesty.

Across 164 hectares of Portuguese landscape, his architectural language translates into villa forms defined by geometry and shadow, where the soul of the place slowly surfaces and guides every decision.

Mim Design Reimagines a 1920s Art Deco Home in Sydney

The material language leans into 1920s speakeasy, "refined yet flirtatious," as Charlotte McGill, Head of Interiors at Mim Design, describes it. Expressive stone, aged brass and black steel meet leather and velvet, and a 3.3-metre Breccia Medici island reads as a bar-like bench, a theatrical stage answering the client's brief for a "bougie party pad."
