At the beginning of this year, I was around 220 lbs, running, working out consistently, and feeling like I was finally getting back into a good routine. Then in March, I got injured weightlifting, which led to issues with my knee and back and completely slowed me down. By the end of the summer, I hit 240 lbs… the heaviest I’ve ever been. That was my wake-up call. Working in the spirits industry means I’m constantly around tastings, cocktails, dinners, and new experiences and I love it. It’s part of my career and something I’m genuinely passionate about, so no, I’m not giving up drinking. 😂 For me, this is about finding balance. Being more disciplined with my workouts, what I eat, how much I drink, and making my health a priority without giving up the things I enjoy. Now that I’m recovered, I’m back in the gym and working toward 200 lbs, a weight I haven’t seen since before the pandemic. Long way to go, but this is the start, and have friends that push me 💪🏽

LA Tech Week: Literal 100's of events in 1 week for the purpose of bringing venture capital from Silicon Valley to Los Angeles. . Latino Venture Capital founder & CEO, we spoke on actual deals. . C-Suite Executive of some of the largest concerts in the US, example: Coachella. Figured how to have our brand @working.entrepreneurs give free gear with t-shirt bazooka's. . Everything any of us interact with digitally with the @nfl the last decade is built by a Latino lead engineering team. Agreed to be a guest on the podcast. . Thanks to @alpfa_la @ale.alanis__ @alefloresmc hosting a solid event. . @barlisla all the stuff we see about AI, such as buy a Mac Mini to dedicatedly host your AI assistant to replace human work. Met a guy doing it, showed me live examples on his phone for his construction companies. Hour long convo. Now we're collaborating with both our funding & software. . Instead of sell your stuff, rent your stuff to keep making money constantly on one item. @nyleve.laurent you opened our eyeballs. Gonna come check yall out at the @beverlycenter . A bunch others. A cool trip is how the majority of people are only on LinkedIn. Some people giving me side eye, like "How do you not have LinkedIn". Asking: "How can you network?" 😅 Lol. Old School, the phone number still works. ☎️ . When @square came out, most didn't have it, I was an early adopter to always accept payment. 🤌💰 . Been holding off on it, but I'm down to get a LinkedIn now. . #LA #TechWeek was a different energy to the town. Heard of it, now experienced a glimpse.
