POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A few of our STX legends getting out in the sunshine today and putting their fitness to work with 5km, 10km and 15km runs.

We train in the studio to get stronger, fitter and more capable — so we can go out and do cool stuff with it.

And if hybrid training is your thing… stay tuned 👀
We’ve got more coming very soon😉🔥

Throwback to my first Taupō Marathon 🏃‍♀️💙

Did the 10km along the lakefront, and those views did not disappoint. Tacked it onto a work trip too, so… #fitcation?

EPISODE 2 — JEN’S JOURNEY

It’s been about a month since our Studio X Mum (one of our awesome owners) made the decision to get back into some consistent strength training.

Nothing crazy. No “all in” approach.

Just two strength sessions a week, coming along to our Monday and Friday BUILD classes and slowly finding her feet again.

And her biggest takeaway so far? Her mind feels clearer.

But she’s also been really honest about the fact that getting started again was hard.

She’d left it longer than she wanted to, and the longer she waited, the bigger that hurdle became.

Fear of being behind.
Fear of failing.
Fear of what other people might think.

And now?

Her words were pretty simple: “I just wish I’d come back sooner.”

That’s probably the biggest lesson from Episode 2.

You don’t need to come back fitter.
You don’t need to come back stronger.
And you definitely don’t need to punish yourself for the time you’ve had away.

Sometimes you just need to start.

Two sessions a week.
One foot in front of the other.
Build from there.

We’re bloody proud of you, Jen❤️

Week One ✔️

One thing I wanted to point out from this video…
Mum isn’t on a special programme.

She’s simply jumping into our Studio X classes, just like everyone else.

The difference isn’t a fancy training plan. It’s having experienced coaches who know how to meet you where you’re at, a programme that can be adapted to suit you, and a community that’s genuinely in your corner.

Whether you’re 24 or 64, coming back after time away, recovering from life’s setbacks, or walking into a gym for the very first time, everyone starts somewhere.

This week wasn’t about lifting the heaviest weights.
It was about rebuilding confidence.
Learning to trust her body again.

And remembering that getting stronger isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up.

One week down, plenty more to come💛
Follow along!

People often think strength training is about lifting heavier weights or looking a certain way.

For us, it’s about something much bigger.

This is my mum, Jen.

A few years ago, life changed after a car accident. The road back hasn’t been easy, but she’s showing up, putting in the work, and proving that progress doesn’t have an age limit.

Over the next few weeks and months, we’re going to share her journey—the wins, the challenges, the laughs, and everything in between.

Because strength isn’t about being the strongest person in the room.

It’s about being strong enough to keep living the life you want.

If you’ve ever thought, “I’m too old,” “I’m too unfit,” or “I’ve left it too late,” we hope this series reminds you that today is always a good day to start.

Here’s to one session at a time💛

Our Studio X selfie wall is UP — and we reckon she’s looking pretty bloody good 👀

A HUGE thank you to @lauracannoncreative for bringing the expertise and helping us get this one just right… while Coach Leish jumped on the tools and pretended she knew what she was doing 😂

A few finishing touches still to come, but we couldn’t wait to show her off.

Another little in-house job ticked off the list ✔️
Now we just need to see your mugs in front of it 😉📸

Missing a few of the crew tonight! But its nice to see the STX staff not in gym gear for once😝

Lets just say, some of us are better choice for teammates at an escape room than others🤣

Strong women don’t just lift weights… they lift each other🥰

A huge congratulations to every one of the incredible ladies who took on Butterfly Effect competition today! What an awesome day of pushing limits, backing your teammates, and proving that courage is about showing up, giving it a crack, and having each other’s backs.

That’s exactly why we love this event. The Butterfly Effect is all about celebrating strength, connection, community, and empowering women of all abilities to step outside their comfort zones together. And that’s exactly what Studio X is all about too🤩

We’re so proud of every single one of you!

More photos, videos, and competition recaps coming soon… 👀

6 runs. 6 stations. And one epic day out with the crew.

Massive shoutout to @jumpstartfitnessfoxton for putting on such an awesome Foxrox event. It was all for an incredible cause, and our team had an absolute blast getting out there, pushing themselves, and backing each other every step of the way.

One thing’s for sure… if there’s an event on, you can almost guarantee the Studio X crew will be there! 💪
