I miss this place. I miss these people. Whether you are in these photos or not (Instagram only let’s me use 10) doesn’t matter. I just miss our family. I know we’ll get through this and when we do it will be like nothing else. It makes my heart race thinking about it. Hang in there. There are many things to be grateful for even through all of this. Congratulations to two of my favorite men on their special day! 🤵💒 I’m so happy for you and excited I can share this time with you! Thank you for welcoming me with open arms two years at our incredible apartment. There’s no one else I would rather have plunge my toilet, build my furniture, and stalk while I grill by the pit. That said: This past year has seen me through many moments of transition and growth. I believe in using my voice and social media as a platform for transparency and often wonder why we curate our public persona to represent the good rather than embody the beauty of the complex work that goes into the greater fabric of who we all are. Life is seldom easy but even in its darkest moments it’s meant to be celebrated. My communities in sweat and solidarity have taught me that intention and inspired my strength, both literally and figuratively. I feel fortunate to be surrounded by them on a daily basis (there are far too many people to name, you know who you are)!
