Alma Søderberg is touring Europe with the unique performance Infinétude. Together with five phenomenal artists from the contemporary European dance scene, she explores music, dance, form and pattern making, in reation to emotions, healing and resistance - to both joy and sorrow.

The performance Infinétude is as much a concert for six voices as it is a dance piece for six bodies. The creation of layered rhythmic patterns, both visual and aural, forms the foundation upon which dance, song, and thought are woven.

Dansehallerne presents the work Nov 4-5, 2026.

“Brilliant - “Infinétude” gives hope in a mad world”
(Svenska Dagbladet, A. Ångström, Dec 2025)

The performance is as much a concert for six voices as it is a dance piece for six bodies. The creation of layered rhythmic patterns, both visual and aural, forms the foundation upon which dance, song, and thought are woven.

Infinétude is created by the acclaimed Swedish choreographer and performer Alma Söderberg.

The work premiered in 2025 at Norrlandsoperan in Umeå and have since then toured in Europe.
We are thrilled to present the performance in Dansehallerne Nov 4-5, 2026.

Residentuuris viibivad:
Alen Nsambu @alenzambu (koreograafia)
Nori Kin @exploitedbody (heli)
Susi Orenius @susiorenius (dramaturgia)
Titus Torniainen @titustorniainen (valgus)
Selma Kauppinen @selmafikerte (etendaja)

Sissepääs jagamisele on tasuta.

On Thursday, August 27th 19:30 a residency sharing of the Finnish-Angolan choreographer and performer Alen Nsambu will take place in the big hall.

blacklight is a new stagework that zooms into the connection between darkness, blackness and danger. It departs from the stereotype of the black “dangerous” male body, and how in the west that stereotype is being reinforced by normative representations of darkness and light in pop culture as well as old religious texts. Could darkness and blackness become a place for transformation and freedom, instead of being a place of control?

In residency:
Alen Nsambu @alenzambu (choreography)
Nori Kin @exploitedbody (sound)
Susi Orenius @susiorenius (dramaturgy)
Titus Torniainen @titustorniainen (light)
Selma Kauppinen @selmafikerte (performer)

Supported by Finnish Cultural Foundation
Sharing entry is free.

What does it mean to belong in a world that keeps asking you to choose? 🖕
In NEON BEIGE, Finnish-Angolan performer Alen Nsambu explores identity at the intersection of race, queerness and cultural heritage. Combining movement, storytelling and striking visual language, the performance reflects on visibility, otherness and the search for a place where every part of yourself can exist without compromise. Honest, poetic and deeply contemporary, it's a powerful invitation to see the world—and each other—with fresh eyes.
