"I’m shooting my way out of here…"
Cara Dune
> Star Wars: The Mandalorian
Bricklink: sw1058
Set: 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser
Year: 2019
~
A hardened veteran of the Galactic Civil War, Carasynthia Dune fought alongside the Rebel Alliance; she was an elite soldier, who parachuted directly into the most dangerous warzones. A seasoned warrior with a muscular build, she became as formidable with a blaster as she was in hand-to-hand combat, earning a reputation for strength, resilience, and unshakable resolve—truly a warrior to the core.
After the Battle of Endor, Cara continued the fight by hunting down surviving Imperial warlords across the Outer Rim. But as the New Republic brought stability to the galaxy, her role shifted toward peacekeeping and policing: protecting delegates, suppressing riots—duties far removed from the frontlines she knew. Unwilling to trade for routine, Cara chose to walk away and took early retirement, becoming a mercenary and selling her talents to the highest bidder.
Her path eventually crossed with that of Din Djarin, with whom she formed a strong and pragmatic alliance. Fighting side by side against Imperial remnants and local threats alike, Cara Dune proved to be one of his reliable allies. Whether defending settlements like Nevarro or standing against Moff Gideon’s forces, she brought both firepower and experience to every battle.

I do not like any of the official Lego brick-built Balutar Swoops but I found an old post by @alerionbricks for his MOC of a Balutar swoop with a motorcycle part. I immediately found the motorcycle part with @lord_bizzness because he has everything 🙏🏽 The MOCs are fantastic. 🔥 👏🏽 to @alerionbricks

I uploaded a still frame of some Mandalorians on the bikes to @nauknauk.io for the video above

“Sorry you can’t park here.”

“Oh now, I’ve had guidance. This is where it should go.”

“Guidance? Who from?”

“The Virgin Mary. I spoke to her yesterday. She was outside the post office.”

This exchange was not from this scene but it was such a funny scene. The movie this line is from is “The Lady in the Van,” starring Smith as Mary Shepherd, a homeless woman living in a van on the property of Alan Bennett, a writer, played by Alex Jennings. A very sweet movie.

Up next brings an American comedy legend and Dame Maggie Smith together, can you guess who it is?

Until next time…

The Mutant Part V

“Who are you?

“A survivor…”

“State your name and business.”

I am here to train this young one…as for a name, I’ve been called many things since by birth, but you can call me Bob… Jyedi Bob.”

Even though the Mandont challenge said an adapted icon from the cartoon series, I feel Jedi Bob is a legend in his own right. Welcome Jedi (Jyedi) Bob to the Mandont universe!

Until next time…

The Mutant Part IV

“Where did you find this sword?” It is…unworldly. I’ve only heard of one other sword like this, a legendary sword made by creatures from another galaxy named goblins. It is said that they harness powers and energies that can rival any force user. With both swords, the power of the user would be incredible, without question.”

“Who was the original sword made for?”

“A wizard in a distant galaxy. According to legend, his name was…Godric Gryffindor.”

Part IV of @fjj_customs and @rhubarbbrick Mandont contest!

Tor and Tuol meets Ayakak, a seemingly ancient being living on the planet of Ach-To. The creature is a master when it comes to the art of the sword, and seems to know information that Tor did not about this weapon, its twin, and the raw power it could unleash.

Until next time…

*cue It Ain’t My Fault

Day Twelve of the Twelve Days of Christmas

And now the Twelve Days have ended but my love for this show continues. The relationship shown between Margaret and Elizabeth is so wholesome and beautiful. Their closeness was a true fact of their relationship as sisters, with both of them calling one another each and everyday. This scene comes from Season 6, Episode 8, “The Ritz.” This episode has grown to be one of my favorites in the series. Can’t wait to rewatch it!

Until next time…

*cue Sleep Dearie Sleep Part 2

Day Ten of the Twelve Days of Christmas

This final scene hits so hard for me. This is the second post from Season 6, Episode 10 and it doesn’t even come close to the emotions I felt watching that scene.

“Although we are both outsiders who married in, you and I are quite different.”
“Yes I can see that now…”

Day Seven of the Twelve Days of Christmas!

Prince Philip and Princess Diana were both outsiders to the system and the British monarchy but while one fit in, one did not…which is seen here in Season 4, Episode 10 (I think).

“Your Majesty…”

Day Six of the Twelve Days of Christmas!

Even in real life, Thatcher’s curtesy was deep and pronounce, showing her respect for the monarchy, even if she and the Queen didn’t always get along. This is from Season 4, Episode 1.

Day Five of the Twelve Days of Christmas
