When I found out I was pregnant with Dylan during my own senior year, I was so scared and uncertain about how my life would turn out. I couldn’t have imagined having the privilege of raising such an amazing human being.
The kindest, sweetest, most loving soul that I know.
Graduation is tomorrow, and I’m so proud of this young man for facing every obstacle with grace and grit. Autism, epilepsy, ADHD… no matter what it was, he approached it all with the strength of a gentle giant. I am so proud to be his mom and watch him graduate tomorrow.

Keep swiping to see me 8 months pregnant with this kid at my own high school graduation 🤗

I don’t give myself enough credit for how well I put these family picture outfits together 😫👏🏽
I panicked last minute when I realized I really had FIVE whole people to get together. And it’s not so easy because one’s a baby boy, then there’s a toddler girl, then a teen boy in men’s sizes. So it’s not like I could get the exact same outfit for anyone.
I scoured Pinterest and Instagram for hours looking for color schemes that I loved, hadn’t done before, and felt like I could pull off. In the past we’ve done black/cream, dark green/cream/jeans, and burgundy/black.
Some stores had matchy-matchy outfits for father/son and mother daughter, but I wanted everything to “go”… not match exactly.
I drove myself a little bit cray cray, but I eventually made it happen! I literally got every piece of clothing from a different store, and I must say, it came together so well for our 2023 holiday family pictures!

I have been a mom for my entire adult life.
I gave birth to Dylan 3 months after my 18th birthday, a month after my high school graduation. So I’ve literally been a mom as long as I’ve been an adult.
It’s is the longest, hardest, most challenging, tiring, confusing, frustrating job I have ever had.

… but MyGod the privilege I’ve been given.

God trusted me… ME… to literally create an entire human in my body, deliver it into this world, and teach them life. Not one, but THREE times! I am so grateful. I love these kids with every beat of my heart and I look forward to continuing being their Mommy for as long as God allows.

Happy Mother’s Day, everyone! 💐💕
