With the BOLD MOVES campaign we celebrate people that dare to question the status quo and break new ground. Alex Munyambabazi had to be part of this campaign. His story and his work show in an impressive way that everything is a matter of perspective. Truly an ambassador for BOLD MOVES 💙💛♥️

STEPS TAKE TO PREPARE FOR MARRIAGE

As you embark on the journey to prepare yourself for marriage, you must invest in time to study the opposite sex. Most couples often assume that their own individual behaviour is similar to that of the opposite sex; and so they they fail to understand what women or men want and need.

Purpose to be deliberate in studying the male or female creature before you study the one you are relating with as an individual.

Join The Marriage Anchor, this Sunday, in this episode as she prepares you for marriage.

Last week we hosted an online event chaired by Alex Munyambabazi, who is a landmine survivor and an advocate for landmine survivors and disability rights.

We heard from Selma Antic who works with @npabih 🇧🇦 Lousica Gajendiran who works with @minesadvisorygroup in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Michael Heiman who works with @herorats in Cambodia 🇰🇭 and Smart Jisinau and Nokutenda Masiyanise who work with @thehalotrust in Zimbabwe.

They spoke about the impact of the pandemic, and the difference that a Landmine Free 2025 would make to the 60 million people still living with the daily risk of landmines.

Thank you to everybody who attended, and to all the panellists for their fantastic presentations 👏 showing why landmine clearance - and providing assistance to victims and survivors - is such a vital part of development and post-conflict recovery.
