2 weeks 🪽🌈

I class myself as quite a stong person, been through a lot & pulled myself back up many a time. But this is different.

I have had to lean on so many people for strength & support over the past couple of weeks. The grief has been more than i could bare at times 🥺 not a day can go by without something bringing me to tears.

I dreaded this part of being a Dog Mum for many years 🐾 & knew it would never be easy but i don't think it is talked about publically enough just how difficult it realy is 💔

Self care & the drive for doing anything went out the window. Everything for the past 2 weeks has been forced; work, training once i returned, eating etc.

I know time helps to heal & i hope to oneday soon be able to look through photos & videos smiling at the amazing memories i have 🥹

I just feel incredibly blessed to have had so many friends, family & even friends from another lifetime reach out with messages, voicenotes, cards & gorgeous gifts 🫶🏽

So grateful to each & everyone of you, it has all helped more than you know ❤️

And to my rock @alex_hotham for holding & comforting me throughout it all, even through his own grief 👫🏽 xx

1 week without our Babygirl 🐞🪽

The pain is still so raw 💔 but we will be forever grateful we were able to give Lady her doggy fairytale ending 🌈

We knew it would be anyday now that we would have the decision taken away from us & we were not prepared to let Lady suffer or be scared/hurt in that moment.

So instead she got 2 days filled with:
🫂 Cuddles off her favourate Humans
💚 A visit to the park with her sisters
🔴 An attempt at playing with her kong ball
(Mum just opened & poured out the treats in the end)
🧀 Cheese treats off NanaJ
🍔 Burger & chips with us all
🥓 Bacon & eggs with Dad
🐶 Belle & Tinker never leaving her side
🍫 And chocolate because no dog should go to heaven without tasting chocolate!

She went to sleep with the fullest & happiest heart 😴

The tourture of these 2 days was more than we thought we could bare, but we would do it all again in a heartbeat as we know not everyone gets so lucky to say a propper goodbye 🐾

My heart is shattered into a billion pieces 💔
It will never be whole again as you have taken part of it with you my darling baby girl 🥺

This morning you took your last breath in my arms, in the comfort of your home, all together as a family of 5 for the last time 👫🏽🐶🐶🐶

I have never felt pain like this!
I have dreaded the day since i first brought you into my life.
My entire body hurts but i know i would do this over again so you no longer suffer 🫶🏽

Thank you for giving me over 15 years of the purest joy whilst at the same time being the biggest pain in my arse!
You were truly one of a kind & the biggest character 🤎

It has been awful watching your light get dimmer over the past few months, i'd have given anything to hear you bark like crazy demanding endless carrots & treats!
However that side of you was not coming back no matter what we did, so we allowed you to instead still enjoy life, your adventures & tell us when it was time to say goodbye my angel 🪽

You have been my constant throughout all of lifes challenges & changes.
I thank my 22 year old self for choosing you to be my first furbaby.....
or maybe you chose me to be your Mum ❤️
Either way, i no longer know how to adult without you, as i never have.

My shadow. My sidekick. My soul dog. My best friend. The boss of the house. The best big sister.
My beautiful baby girl 😔

15 years has flown by & it was not enough time but eternity would have been too short 🐾

I will love you forever & always LadyBug🐞
Never a day will go by that i do not think of you or search my camera for the million photos & videos i have.

My heartbreak will never disappear but neither will the years of memories, for that i am so grateful 🥰

Sleep tight my gorgeous Lady 🪽

Mummy, Daddy, Belle & Tinker love you beyond words & will all see you again one day my love 🌈 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It’s not all wins, sometimes we forget to breathe properly and nearly pass out mid set 😂

Top set of BB Rows, I tried jumping 10kg from 190-200kg this week. Maybe shouldn’t have… but it felt right. I am always anxious when exploring new territory and sometimes overthink it and forget the basics.. next time I’ll get it 🤞I certainly won’t be trying anything heavier for a while because this needs perfecting first and foremost 💪

Backed off with 180kg which used to be my top set weight so progress is being made and that’s the main thing 🫡

Our beautiful Tinker turned "8" today 🎉
(Highly unlikely since she acts more like a puppy 🤣)

Regardless of what this angels true age is, we have been so blessed to now share 2 Birthdays with her 🥰

She loves us & her sisters more than anything......
well maybe not more than this Birthday Muffin 🎂
