Spoiler alert...she said yes! 💍

Capital's Secret Fiancé involves a mystery listener who plans their proposal with Jordan, Chris and Sian, live on air. With a voice-charger as a disguise, the Secret Fiancé drops hints about who their partner is, creating a nation-wide game of 'guess who'.

Two weeks of clue-dropping went by, and our amazing Secret Fiancé Darren was ready to propose to his partner Sophie! The plan all came together with a fancy breakfast at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower, a flash mob performance from @agapegospelcollective & @tom.grennan (swipe for sneaky rehearsal video), Sian Welby hiding in a cupboard, and loads of hidden cameras. Sophie had listened to Darren on Capital Breakfast over those last two weeks, having no idea he was talking about her!

Massive congrats to @darrenspe and Sophie, and thank you to the whole Capital team for your hard work - let's get cracking on next year! 🤫💕

When we started the show, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway was the benchmark. I think today we were sitting on the bench.

Thank you to @darrenspe & @slblack20 for allowing us to be part of your special moment 💕

Waterloo isn’t the only London landmark Swedish icons have called home. @IKEAUK opened the doors to its flagship Oxford Street store today and it’s been celebrated across our outdoor estate! 🛍️🇸🇪🧆🌭🍦

a long overdue wrap up of memories from the most transformative chapter of my life so far 💫 I had my sights set on Capital from the day I landed in ldn, and I’m so proud to have achieved everything I’d hoped for and more while being there. It almost feels like a cheese dream, and it’s hard to put into words what the last 2.5 years has taught me. It’s an utter privilege to go into work (albeit at 5am - not the best bit) and see your best mates every single day, and I’ll never forget how lucky I was to have that experience. A wonderful chapter has come to a close, and I’ll never ever forget it ✨🫶🏼

Over 243 hectares of nature to enjoy and boost a January mood🌿

A beautiful capture of the Royal Parkland by 📸@alexander.smiith

A mixture of evergreen and deciduous trees, the woodlands in the parkland are mainly Corsican and Scots Pine mixed with Oak, Sweet Chestnut and Birch, supporting an abundance of animals, birds and plants.
