día de los muertos has such a special place in our lives & even more now after saying I do just one year ago. this year has taught me so much, my relationship with god, the universe, & our ancestors has only grown the more I aligned myself with the present moment of being. I’ve learned to embrace sacredness with curiosity, with courage, and compassion for myself & for others.

We create the sacredness in our love, our life, & in our everyday choices, even with the people we surround ourselves with.

This dia de los muertos remember that:
Grief only visits where love lives. We cannot have one without knowing the other. and while every special moment gets slightly clouded with that little feeling of missing our loved ones no longer here with us, we’re so thankful and grateful to have beautiful family + friends who’ve embraced us in their lives & offer us support and companionship. Time moves fast, but when moments are still, know I hold each of you in my heart, inspiring me to show up as a better woman, partner, friend, mentor, ally, advocate, soul ✨

there are a lot of beautiful things happening, and love is one of them ✨ celebrating our friends in love this year was the theme! this was such a fun day celebrating their engagement, we appreciate both of these beautiful souls so much ❣️as I was putting this together I just started thinking about love 💭
You know, Love is in every conversation, it’s in every word we share, it’s the grace we give others to grow, the compassion we grow for ourself. It’s how we choose to show up for each other, the effort we make to truly see & connect with somebody. It’s in the lessons we take away and transmute it into something greater than ourselves. Celebrating love is such an honorable act, it always prevails, always persists. many religions and spiritual walks of life treat love sacredly because it’s valued so highly. It’s a choice we make everyday first with ourselves and when the timing is aligned, with others too ✨💕

Bits & pieces of the last few weeks of summer. Traveled to see friends get married in Cyprus, focused on projects & my physical & mental health, celebrated our pups 4th birthday, & enjoyed all the moments unseen. its been a fun summer and it’s also been such an interesting one 💭
