PSA!!!!!!! My move to Okinawa has been delayed! I will be in Texas until the end of the year 🤍

Long story short, we adopted our dog Wicket last August and we found out this week that we were missing a document we needed to move her to Japan.

After a full day of phone calls and emails, we finally found the document through her previous moving company that helped move her to Hawaii before we adopted her.

Unfortunately, my vet reviewed the document and we learned that Wicket has to complete a part of the import process over again and it requires a 6 month waiting period before she can enter Japan 😭

This means I will be staying in Texas until December (or possibly November, depending on whether I travel ahead of Wicket and Teddy)

We are definitely bummed that our timeline has completely changed, but we’re choosing to trust that everything happens for a reason. We have done long distance before, so this is nothing we can’t handle together!! 🤍

I do plan to travel and visit my husband in late July or early August, but otherwise I will be resuming Texas sessions as normal! 🤩

It’s been one of those weeks where insecurity has felt louder than usual. Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the way we speak to ourselves.

I’ve spent so much time convincing myself I had to look a certain way before I could fully enjoy things. Before I could wear certain clothes. Before I could feel pretty enough. Before I could feel confident enough.

And honestly, I think a lot of us live our lives like that without even realizing it. We keep waiting for a different version of ourselves to finally feel worthy of being seen, loved, celebrated, or remembered. But life keeps moving in the middle of all of that.

There are still memories being made. People loving you. Big life changes happening. Seasons worth remembering.

I don’t know if I’ll ever fully see myself the way other people do, but I do know I’m tired of letting insecurity take up so much space in my life 🤍 Here’s to trying to live life without the voices in my head being so loud

Chasing the blues again… Lexi Rae Photo is going international 🩵

Yes… I’m moving again!!

It has been so great being back home in Texas these past few months, but my husband and I are heading back across the Pacific for an exciting new opportunity!! And this time, we’re calling Okinawa, Japan home 🇯🇵🌸

I’m beyond excited to be near the ocean again and to continue exploring the world with my husband 🤍

Texas will always be home for us, and this is definitely not goodbye! I’ll be back every once in awhile, so stay tuned for booking details ✨

Happy 2nd anniversary to the love of my life 🩷

I’m so grateful we got to spend this year side by side. This past year has been so rewarding for us and full of growth. From welcoming you home from deployment, to me finally moving to Hawaii to our first home together, adopting our dog, moving back to Texas, and going on our first real vacation… it’s been a year full of memories I’ll cherish forever 🩷 I’m so thankful for the love we share and all of the adventures we’ve had together!

You are my absolute best friend, my safe place, my person, my why, and so much more! I love you so incredibly much!

I can’t wait to see what this next year has in store for us! 🫶🏻
