Friday was a big day for Toledo as all of Downtown’s most dynamic event leaders announced an unprecedented partnership for 2026 and beyond. In the spirit of the Parties in the Park and Rally by the Rivers of old Glass City legends, Toledo’s biggest players came together and committed to start making the civic summers of our dreams a very tangible modern reality.

And we here at @techledo could not have been any prouder to be included in this concerted reactivation of the Maumee River waterfront and our beloved NEW @glasscityriverwalk. Starting at the fabulous @huronyards on St. Patrick’s Day and continuing until the Fall season says “that’s enough,” ALL of the major events in @downtowntoledo and across the river on East Toledo’s waterfront will be collaboratively supporting one another to make this summer (and those to come) the kind of summers our kids will fondly remember like we once did.

In the spirit of the synergy that our girl @cheryldillin shared along with Toledo’s leaders, we have some announcements to make ourselves today along with the launch of our @techledo branding by famed Toledo designer @alexdartt. It’s taken a village to get us to this point and our village keeps on saying the same thing. We’ve really got something here with @techledo and we can’t wait to bring it to our people.

Today we bring you our DJ lineup for this year’s festival at The Ribbon. And we’re over the moon to announce our headliner, DJ Heather from Chicago! Along with the @detroittechnomilitia and few handfuls of our friends from Detroit, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Nashville, and Toledo, we’re bringing our people 16 new DJs on 3 different stages!

From Dennis, Darlene, Kristen, and myself, we’d like to invite you all to join us on Saturday June 13th for #TECHLEDO2026. Still free. Still fabulous. And ready to make your Spirits Move. Let’s do this.🪩❤️
