Punishment Park presents: Marlene Ribeiro (live), Big Leg (live) + Resident DJ’s Mabgate Bleach 8pm - 3am 06/11 Sound will be provided through the hand-built Maenad soundsystem. Our first live performer, Marlene Ribeiro of Rocket Recordings, takes a trip across the Calder Valley to join us. Her solo work is nestled within the ethereal world of avant-garde dream-pop. Her music is luscious and almost ritualistic in its psychedelic appeal, a tender incitement to immerse ourselves in her vivid world. Secondly, Big Leg. Musician, producer, DJ and occasional clown, joining us from Berlin. Rhys’ musical output is certainly eccentric. His solo productions span from scuzzy mutant dubs to junglist, rave-y escapades and much in between. Expect subdued and sultry sonics, blossoming ballads of despair with dubwise and punki inclinations. You can also expect to hear the full bag of tricks from resident DJs, @rosiegeorgexx and @alexeoo0_0 . More info to come on all those involved. A big thank you to Ethan for last minute flyer duties, to Ben of Maenad sound-system for agreeing to propel the sound, and a swift recovery to our Swinhoe. Tickets are available via @mulch.leeds and your early support is greatly appreciated. This event is unfeasible without general ticket prices starting at £10 but please get in touch if you have to be there and are unable to afford this.

Introducing the DJ’s at the bar next Friday… ! Shona B is a much loved local and longtime resident DJ of the bar. Through her contributions to NARR Radio, gigs across the north and recently through her collaborative event with edv3ctor, Dark Stains - Shona has honed her singular sound in Leeds for many years now. For the most part Shona’s style is that on the colder side, lots of punk adjacent 80s stuff with a penchant for the dark and weird. That being said she is a longtime lover of dub and Latin music that you can likewise listen to her explore on her NARR shows. We can’t wait to hear what slice of her collection she’ll bring on the 26th! One one of our very own B&W residents, Alex will be found in his natural habitat - behind the Outlaws bar, pulling out wacky 7”s from his bag, scrolling maniacally through his USB and somehow making it all make perfect sense… ! We’re best pleased to welcome @moses___joses to Leeds! B-boy turned DJ, resident of legendary Frankfurt club Robert Johnson, he’s comfortable in the deep end of slow sludgy territories and likewise in oddball techno. He is also the founder of Zsa Zsa records in Berlin, label and daytime event series championing community well-being and sustainable partying! Having recently contributed a guest mix to NARR radio, we were fortunate enough to hang out with Joses in Berlin earlier this summer. His warm and lighthearted manner combined with wicked tunes confirmed that we needed to get him over! Early Birds are all gone! With 2nd release tickets available on Mulch and RA, don’t snooze! 🛥️🛥️🛥️🛥️🛥️🛥️🛥️🛥️

Outlaws announcement 26.09.26 Another year around the sun, another year of New York street antics… and the Outlaws Yacht Club 14th birthday party! As has become tradition, the celebration begins in the bar with beloved long-time resident Shona B, followed by fellow Narr representative and other occasional member of the bar team, Bob & Weave co-founder Alex Howard. We’re also very excited to welcome Moses Joses over from Berlin. A recent discovery via his great NARR mix and one of the loveliest people we met on our recent field trip to Berlin, not to mention longstanding resident of Frankfurt based institution Robert Johnson, who will close proceedings in the bar. In terms of club revelry, our annual trip over to MAP charity HQ Hope House, sees Mutant / Narr Radio resident, and Off-Symetry party hostess, the imitable Ana Miller. Honing psychedelic excursions across the calder valley in The Golden Lion and over in Manchester, Ana’s style is an enchanting escapade through various cosmic styles. Closing the night we have the Glaswegian DJ / producer / record label owner, Pigeon Steve. A purveyor of all matters trippy and squelchy, the pigeon does coo in its happy place of a dark club pumping out wonky trance and techno. He’s bound to ruffle a few feathers with his trademark bombasticity. Tickets are available on Mulch via RA, where limited early-birds are now on sale! @mulch.leeds Proceeds from the night will go to supporting MAP charity and their youth education program. For which they are currently looking for more volunteers. Shoutout to Vilija as ever for her gorg poster crafting! @vrm_vrm_vrm_vrm Join us where you can and enjoy the ride…
