We are overjoyed to share that Flying Duo won Best Narrative at Sunrise Film Festival this weekend! We absolutely adore this festival and are so grateful to their team for recognizing our film. We were originally hoping to visit the festival in person, however last minute we were not able to do so. Instead, the Fracassantes core team were in France attending the funeral of someone we deeply love and cherish, and coincidentally was an integral part of Flying Duo’s journey. Thank you so much to @_felipechavez for collecting the award on our behalf and for supporting us through this beautiful high in the middle of a heartbreaking low. Thank you @sunrisefilmfest for supporting us and showing our film! And the biggest thank you we can muster to the incredible Delphine Brunet, for everything. Your light, laughter and love was such a guidance through this project, and we hope we continue to feel that in all our future work. With so much love, Charly, Robyn, Emma, and the Flying Duo Team x The Speech: We are so incredibly honoured to have our film be a part of Sunrise Film Festival. Thank you to the team of passionate organisers and volunteers who make essential events like this possible. On this occasion, we could not be here in person. Our team is currently attending the funeral of someone very close to our hearts, and coincidentally, very close to our film. Delphine Brunet was an integral part of Flying Duo from start to finish. Not only did she birth our writer, Emma Brunet, but she supported all of us through every stage of production. Flying Duo is a film about leaving the home you love to create your own, and finding your dream. When Emma chose to pursue her London dream, Delphine let her little bird fly. And without that, we would never be here. So we would love to dedicate this moment to her today. Thank you, Delphine, for everything you have done for this film, and for us. Your guidance, support, humour and love knew no bounds, and we are so grateful for everything. With so much love, Charly, Robyn, Emma and the Flying Duo Team x Thank you @_felipechavez and thank you @sunrisefilmfest 🧡 we are so incredibly grateful and honoured to have be

“In just under ten minutes, FLYING DUO accomplishes what many longer features struggle to achieve: authenticity. It’s not about finding all the answers; it’s about realizing that even in loneliness, connection can take root. The film captures stillness—the kind that teaches you who you are when the city around you won’t stop moving.” Thank you @overlyhonestreviews for taking the time to watch our film and share your thoughts 🙏🏻👏🏻 check out his website for the full review 🤍 FLYING DUO 🐦 screening @ritzy_cinema WEDNESDAY, ticket link in bio 🎟️ 🔗

“FLYING DUO is a delicate, personal, and unmistakably authentic short film that captures the ache of displacement through humor, heart, and subtle artistry. Written by Emma Brunet-Campain and directed by Robyn Faye, this ten-minute exploration of loneliness and friendship becomes a celebration of persistence—both within its story and behind the scenes. It’s the kind of short that makes viewers remember the first time they felt swallowed by a city and found comfort in someone who understood.” Thank you @overlyhonestreviews for taking the time to watch our film and share your thoughts 🙏🏻👏🏻 check out his website for the full review 🤍 FLYING DUO 🐦 screening @ritzy_cinema WEDNESDAY, ticket link in bio 🎟️ 🔗

How can you be lonely while surrounded by people? Zoe and Lady are each other’s closest friends. They are both outsiders. Small fish in the big pond of the capital city. But most importantly, they are both dreamers. Lady has moved from France, away from her family and home to live her London dream and Zoe has done the same from her small hometown. They are both here together; Two tiny peas in a very large pod. We are overjoyed to announce that ‘Flying Duo’ will be making it’s premiere at the iconic Ritzy Picturehouse 🙏🏻 it will be shown alongside a small selection of the team’s previous work, and followed by a Q&A 🐦 15th October, 7:30pm, we’d love to see you there 🤍
