Whoever comes to the show next Monday 7/6 gets a special little treat

The colors blue and purple start
To bleed into an endless dark
It’s only you, it’s only you

Happy to announce two shows featuring @lefty.parker & @chicostatesmusic , July 27 and 28 .

July 27 will be at @theapohadion w/special guest @numberonebabeband .

& The Central Maine, East Madison Grange Hall, show will be truly unique.

There will be a pot luck downstairs and there is a beautiful upstairs stage. Def a special event to carpool too. Go to one or both! The grange hall show will be graciously hosted by @jhnhrlw , who absolutely knocked it out of the park last time.(video of last Grange show with Greg Jamie in the second photo!)

Okay, we lied. One last Open Mic (and Share the Music) plug before the weekend!

This clip from Wednesday's featured performer, @alexsilver____, was simply too good not to share!

It's also a great reminder that every Open Mic is livestreamed for free on our Facebook page, making it possible for friends, family, and music fans near and far to tune in, show their support, and discover new artists!

Thank you for helping us support emerging talent right here in Maine. As part of our Help OLS Share the Music campaign, we're raising $30,000 by June 30 to support Open Mic, livestreaming, and other programs that make live music more accessible to our community.

🎤 JUNE OPEN MIC - ONE WEEK AWAY 🎤

Our Open Mic Night returns next Wednesday, June 3 - and we’re excited to welcome Stephen & Caroline from @lolabelleband as this month’s hosts! As part of our 2026 LEAF Fellowship cohort, they’ll help guide another evening built around community, creativity, and supporting local artists.

Month after month, this series continues to grow into a welcoming space for musicians to test out new material, gain confidence on stage, and connect with fellow artists and listeners. Whether you’re performing, cheering someone on, or just curious to experience the room, your presence helps keep Portland’s local music ecosystem thriving.

We’re also excited to feature @alexsilver____, an experimental folk musician and member of the alt-country project Chico States. Known for thoughtful songwriting and a wide-ranging musical background that spans indie rock, folk, and collaborative projects, Alex will share a featured set around 8PM.

🕡 Doors at 6:30PM
🎶 Music begins at 7PM
📋 Sign-ups at the door
🌟 Free and open to all!

Come be part of it!

The rumors are TRUE, Stephen and I are hosting the June @olsportland open mic! Calling all songwriters to join us on June 3rd. We want the freaks, the fragments that remain unfinished, the funny songs, the songs that leave us flummoxed. Come prepared, of course, but know that we prefer passion and heart over polish.

We’re so stoked to have @alexsilver____ join us as a featured performer. Swipe for a preview of his music (single will out by then, so you’ll be able to study up). You can read more of his thoughts on music and process at halfvividsongs.com.

Thanks to OLS and the LEAF program for this fun opportunity— it will be a nice little foray out of my comfort zone, as we strip down our set for the OLS stage. (There may be an opportunity for a full-band open mic in the future… stay tuned). More info at the link in our bio. See you soon!

***this is now “sold out”/maxed out— if you haven’t rsvp’d, we’ll see ya next time!***

Very excited to play at sweet darling Larissa’s on Friday, 10/10! Teaming up once again with power crooners Chico States, and featuring an indefinable solo set from Stephen— it will not be like that video, but will also not NOT be like that video.

***Parking will be a bit of a puzzle, so rsvp required! DM me***
