Coffee table books have for some time been the ultimate must-have for any chic space! Not only do they add flair and personality, but they also spark conversation and inspire creativity.
•
We’re especially proud to highlight Black-authored coffee table books, which bring rich perspectives and unique styles into our homes. These works are not just accessories; they’re vital pieces of art that celebrate culture, history, and innovation.
•
Join us in celebrating the incredible talent of some of our members who are redefining spaces with their words and artistry. Let’s elevate our decor and support Black voices in literature!

Sharne and Jan Algotsson loved the Francisville condo they bought in 2014. It was a modern, three-story Trinity condominium with a dynamite view of Philly’s skyline from its two-tier roof deck. But they eventually started to long for a home more suited to their empty nester lifestyle.

Solo Real Estate agent, Alex Franqui, @franqui14 listed the Algotssons’ condo and helped them find a new home after it was under contract. It all happened pretty quickly. They went to closing and settlement on the same day and moved in on that afternoon, trading their Francisville condo for a new home in Mount Airy that better suits their needs.

Read more about the Algotsson’s journey and check out their new digs in our latest blog post via the 🔗 link in bio!

Another amazing Design Philadelphia has come and gone. This pop-up residential space was the perfect location for my furniture, classic 1800s Philly and modern minimal architecture. I love working with @westelm lighting. Many thanks to @kensington_yards , @georgerossphotographs, artists @levin_cheryl and Connie Jorgensen, Arthur Meckler of Reform, @lusch_frames and contractor Howard Silver for making the Algotsson Design pop-up event, featuring my hand-built furnishings, so much fun and such a success!
