Big Half 2026 - 1:42:09 official 🏃 Ahhh what a day running 13.1 miles across London, giving me flashbacks of the marathon back in April. Wanted to go for it a bit today, with the aim to get into the 1:30s, but I was about 30 seconds outside my PB. The fact I can say I’m slightly disappointed with the time shows how far I have come in running since taking it a lot more seriously at the start of the year. Proud of the effort given that was one tricky course (including tunnels, cobbles and wind) and the fact I cut my knees badly last month, leading to inflammation. Such a buzz to be in amongst the crowds and great to interview @eilishmccolgan after her brilliant victory.

1000+ kms of training but make it landscape If there’s one thing I’m taking from this block, it’s control of ego. Not the obvious kind — not arrogance or confidence, but the quiet voice that says “what’s one more rep?” or “it only hurts for 3 more km.” Every decision either reinforces the past or reshapes what comes next. This block wasn’t about suppressing emotion it was about feeling it, without being ruled by it. This has been about living with the emotion, without becoming it.
