A chill day where I tried to do many things but didn’t really succeed until the end. A reminder that bad moments don’t make a bad day! #singapore #vlog #cooking #positivevibes

Transitions are challenging but also fun I think of a transition as the connection between two postures First you must have a solid hold in both poses Practice each posture separately and feel steady in them then start practising the transition Otherwise it becomes only a challenge and no fun. Transitioning from #ekapadabhujasana to #ekapadakoundinyasana

Recovery is training too. ✨ Together with lululemon VivoCity and Gajju from Align Studio, our community spent the morning moving through a Stretch & Flow session designed to improve mobility, recovery, and balance. It was a reminder that progress isn’t just built through lifting heavier or moving faster. Sometimes, it’s about taking the time to recover so you can come back stronger. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the session such a great one. We hope you left feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready for the week ahead. Here’s to more community events and moving better together. 🙌🏼

Hi friends, many of you know how close community animals are to my heart, so as the year draws to a close (wow! 🥺) I’m excited to share a small yoga fundraiser we’re organising for Jan 2026 in collaboration with @catsafe.sg! CATSAFE is a smart tracker for community cats, helping caregivers respond quickly when a cat is missing or in danger. 100% of ticket sales will go directly to CATSAFE. At the fundraiser, you can expect a multi-level yoga class, plus a short CATSAFE sharing before class on the problem they’re solving, how the tracker works, and how the funds will be used — including a preview of their prototype. Dates 24 January (Saturday), 2.30–4.00pm — Slow Flow 25 January (Sunday), 2.30–4.00pm — Power Flow Big thank you to @alignstudio.sg for sharing their space, and @summermakes.ai for the opportunity. . 〜Internatioal Yoga Day Special event〜 Align studio_SINGAPORE🇸🇬 Gajju & Merlene @alignstudio.sg @thisismerleneyogi ✖️ MK yoga _JAPAN 🇯🇵 Miki @miki_mkyoga We will create an room fragrance as a souvenir. True self When we are soothed by the blessings of nature, we can experience being a part of nature. By being in contact with nature even for just a moment, we may be able to rediscover the "true self" that lies within us. The key scent is Noto Hiba (Ate) which is the prefectural tree of Ishikawa Prefecture, and it is blended with refreshing citrus fruits, refreshing herbs and clean, sweet florals. The scent brings a sense of security and purification in the silence of sacred Japanese forests. We hope you will take a deep breath and feel Japan. *True self's commitment Hibana (Ate) essential oil from Noto, Ishikawa Prefecture, where Miki and I live, and lavender, which will bring you back to your true self. And two sacred scents. A blend of cypress, which means "living forever" and is said to have been used on the cross on which Christ was crucified, and frankincense, which was used as a sacred incense offered to the gods in ancient Egypt. *The effects of the blended essential oils (there are many more) Lavender Return to your true self / Sedative Orange Sweet Bright mood / Uplifting Lemon Trust and security / Digestive support Tea tree Give strength and confidence / Antibacterial Cypress Transformation and regeneration / Hormone adjustment Frankincense Wash away fears and anxieties about the future / Deepen breathing Vetiver Grounding / Antidepressant Several other types... It has a refreshing scent that matches the Singaporean air. ￣￣￣￣￣￣ #singapore #event #yogaevent #botanicgardens

December 31, 2024 New Year's Eve This year, I have had many experiences. It was a year in which I was able to experience the happiness of facing my feelings honestly and spending each day to the fullest, while still trying to figure out both the good and the bad. I am always grateful to the wonderful people I have met and those who have supported me. Starting tomorrow, I hope to start cherishing each day, not getting caught up in the past or the future, while being aware of the small happiness that cannot be taken for granted. Next year, I'm planning a hugely enjoyable event in collaboration with some wonderful people both in Japan and in my second hometown, Singapore. I look forward to meeting everyone!
