CLIENT PROFILE: Kismet is a potentially exciting new venture conceived by a prominent London entrepreneur, designed to provide a platform where Muslim artists can showcase their Islamic-inspired art in a space that truly values their creativity, craftsmanship, and vision. Kismet will be a dynamic, multi-purpose venue, hosting a variety of events such as qawwali performances, stand-up comedy, and more. In addition to being a vibrant art gallery, Kismet will also feature a stylish café and patisserie, offering visitors the perfect spot to relax, indulge in sweet treats, and find inspiration after exploring and purchasing their favorite works of art. Our team has played an integral role in shaping Kismet, from assessing the venue and curating the menu to collaborating with an international team to create a brand that will endure for years to come. Though still in its very early stages, Kismet has the potential to revolutionize the Islamic arts and events space, offering an innovative, immersive experience that blends culture, art, and community.

CLIENT PROFILE: Cocoa by Ali was Birmingham's first halal brunch café, and it was crucial that every aspect of our marketing was executed flawlessly. Our primary focus was on brand consistency, ensuring the venue's aesthetic was mirrored across every touchpoint— from the menu and social media to the coffee cups and all the visuals customers encountered. The food played a pivotal role in Cocoa’s identity, so we worked to craft a menu that was not only conceptually unique but also groundbreaking at the time. Think melting chocolate domes, Korean fried chicken, and layered mermaid lattes—items that were as visually stunning as they were delicious. We made sure every dish not only looked spectacular but delivered on taste as well. Next, we turned our attention to social media. We needed to ensure Cocoa by Ali captured attention for its distinctive blend of food, décor, and hospitality, and that's exactly what we achieved. Through TikToks and Instagram Reels, we created viral content that generated a massive buzz, resulting in long lines, increased revenue, and a brand presence that remains strong today.

📍AL BAYT BY ALI, WATERFRONT WALK, MAILBOX Brand new Middle Eastern café behind the Mailbox in Birmingham. This was originally Cocoa by Ali and the rebrand looks insane! 😍 the interior is totally up my street. The menu is awesome. We had the Middle Eastern platter which included spiced lamb sausage, omelette, fuul, batata harra, feta cheese and chilli oil, beetroot hummus and flatbread served with fresh Moroccan Mint Tea (£16) I loved how all of this didn’t fill me up straight away and was kept light. I would prefer normal hummus rather than beetroot infused as I’m sure most people would prefer. The Beef tagine tacos (£12) in Moroccan spices, prunes, potatoes and mozzarella cheese with a spicy green shatta dip were absolutely gorgeously flavoured combined with the crispy fries 🤤😍 I loved the Aubergine toastie (£7) which wasn’t overpowering as it balanced with the cheese and tasted heavenly without feeling bloated. The Turkish Eggs (£10) were really good which had yoghurt, poached eggs, spicy muhammara, feta crumble, cracked cumin and sourdough toast, not only did it look stunning it tasted great! 👀 For dessert we had the Banoffee Brioche Baked Toast which as you can guess was amazing. The Baklava was deliciously sweet and not bitter as you find in most dessert shops. The only let down was the service as half the order was missing and we weren’t told that 2 items we ordered were unavailable until after 20 minutes from when we placed the order. I hope communication between staff and the speed of service improves. Although I understand they’ve just reopened with a new menu. Our drinks were the Dubai Bling a salted caramel mocha with whipped cream, gold dust and 24ct gold leaf and the Alkarz mocktail had smashed cherries, pomegranate molasses, brown sugar and lemonade which were both crafted really well😋 looking forward to trying more of the menu soon!
