POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I always tell my buyers that when searching for a home in Los Angeles, the stars really need to align! BOY DID THEY for this one ✨✨✨✨ and you can read about it in the @nytimes 🤩

The sweetest family worked with @rae.olivier and I to find their first home - and to pull it off they utilized a Fannie Mae program that allows you to wrap your renovation costs in your mortgage. They knew that to become homeowners they would need some rental income and to do that they would most likely need to build an ADU.

We needed to find a very specific property, at a very specific price, and then get the sellers to agree to an offer that was full of terms. It felt like a needle in a haystack, but it all came together 😅

@rae.olivier is a true rockstar and epic partner in crime. She found the PERFECT corner lot house for them and with the incredible lending team (@alistlender @laurenplaxco) and contractors we got them into an amazing spot.

And now - PINCH ME - the @nytimes wanted to write about it on their long running The Hunt Column!

The article is truly just a snippet of the entire story - but for more information click the link in my bio!

HUGE shout out to the dream team on this one and our amazing buyers for trusting us to get this done for them - so so happy for their family and their incredible property to come! 🫶🏼🐢

Talking ✨REFINANCING✨ with @mkariteam at Arcstone!

It’s very rare that someone keeps the same interest rate on their home for the term of their loan. That’s usually 30 years!!

When you refinance you are essentially trading in your current mortgage for a newer one - so this comes with a new principal and a different interest rate.

Your home is your biggest asset/investment (for most people). Over time you’re building equity in it and one of the best parts about home ownership is being able to do a cash-out refinance to make use of that equity! You can then use this money on a variety of things! Tuition, upgrades, a new property etc…There are other reasons you may refinance of course - like lowering your monthly payment, getting a better interest rate or shortening your loan term to name a few.

So don’t be scared about buying now when the rates are higher (cough* still historically low *cough) and refinance in a couple years once they go back down. The math works out and you’re probably actually in for a deal 🙃

💌 DM for any questions you may have! Even if it’s about refinancing a home you already own!

I did it for them, I can do it for you! Congrats Scott & Miriam! I’m so excited and happy for my clients for getting their dream home today, in such a competitive market. This is my favorite part of my job, handing keys to my buyers to their new home. Just in time for the hot weekend so they can dip in the pool. We were able to get their offer accepted amongst 36 other offers with a conventional loan, 20 day escrow, thanks to @commercial.home_loan_guy. I am grateful for the superstar listing agent @alimorisi for helping to make this happen. This was one of the smoothest transactions, we all worked together as a team, thank you to my team @juls.cohen. Every buyer should have a professional realtor representing them, it is key in today’s market. Feel free to reach out to me if you like to know how to get your dream home and been searching and keep getting outbid. Lets get you to the finish line!
