POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Earlier this summer, we were invited to paint during the Smyrna Brush & Box Mural Fest - one panel, eight hours, amidst the energy of the World Cup viewing party. We really enjoyed getting to paint alongside some of Atlanta's A-list muralists - some who we've known and some we got to meet - and it was cool to see such a variety of awesome murals come out of this event! We enjoyed sharing a box with @larkinford, @alisonhamilart and @first_things_first_. Come see all of the completed murals lining the street behind Smyrna Market Village - and they will be traveling to other locations throughout the city soon. If you spot it, tag us!

Thanks to the City of Smyrna for this opportunity and for supporting art and artists in our community! And shoutout to @_hamfu & @jessrb83 for dropping in to keep us in check! 😆

On Wednesday, July 29, Mayor Allegood, Alderman Carmichael, Alderman Prather, Alderwoman Haase, Alderman Houston, the Acworth Downtown Development Authority's Public Art Committee, and the City Team were thrilled to celebrate @alisonhamilart's vibrant public art installation at Logan Farm Park!

The staircase mural, designed and hand-painted by local artist Alison Hamil, is the first official Call for Artists project under the DDA Public Art Committee since its introduction in 2025. The City is incredibly grateful for Alison's hard work and dedication on this project, and for her thoughtful design that reflects her own personal appreciation for Logan Farm Park, the surrounding natural landscape, and the time she has spent there with her family over the years.

The DDA Public Art Committee would also like to thank the @acworthparksandrec team for their continued assistance with this project, and the City of Acworth's Mayor and Board of Aldermen for their unwavering support for public art and placemaking in Acworth.

The staircase mural is located between Logan Farm Park and the Acworth Arts House at 4405 Cherokee Street.

What an incredible weekend at Smyrna’s first-ever live mural painting event, Brush & Box Fest!

Village Green Park transformed into an open-air art studio as 20 talented Metro Atlanta artists created murals in real time. It was exciting to see so many families and community members stop by to watch the creative process unfold, chat with the artists, and experience public art in a unique and interactive way.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special event. If you weren’t able to make it, the murals will remain on display throughout downtown Smyrna all summer long, so be sure to stop by and enjoy them!

So lucky I got to see these awesome muralists do their magic in Village Green Park in Smyrna, Georgia. It was an honor to capture their energy and watch their process. Thank you for all the kind conversations. It was a total of around 20 awesome individuals, and of course I got their signatures because the sketches wouldn’t feel complete without them!
.
If you spot someone you recognize that isn’t tagged plz dm me so I can add them

✨ A Night at The Palm Royale ✨
From the first ring for rosé to the final turn on the dance floor… what a scene.

There was spirited bidding (and even more spirited dancing) with Officer Gordon, a very charming debut from Winston (arguably the most sought-after guest of the evening), and a truly moving moment with April and Andy McKoski that reminded us all what the night was really about.

Every paddle raised and every bid placed supports the Inclusion Program at Peachtree—making stories like Wells’ possible for every child and every family.

To our sponsors, donors, bidders, and the committee who made it all look so effortless—bravo. And to our fabulous partners The Painted Party, Patch Cafe from House of Wallace, Solomon Brothers, M&M Now, Dennis Dean Catering, The Stave Room, Shimmer band, and our spirited auctioneers Taryn and Jason Troutman—thank you for keeping the cocktails cold and the dance floor very full.

Because at The Palm Royale, one doesn’t simply host a gala… one creates a moment. 🥂✨

And here’s part two… the blanket inspired by that little rainbow mural.
Stitched, layered, and brought to life—just for Amara. ✨
