Life update: I’m deeply in love with @alissashan and we’re having a baby 🌞🥳🚀🕺🏻💃🏻🥰 there’s much I can say but life is so full to cover it all so instead I’ll share some sweet moments going back to our first date. Bonus pic of when I called my mom to share the great news 🌝

Love y’all so much. We’re moving into a home in a few weeks with a big ol’ yard for many community gatherings. I hope to see you soon.

Gracias a Dios. ¡Salud!

Listening to the quiet messages from the ocean and Hibiscus + feeling inspired by these teachers as I prepare to co-host a Venus in Pisces ritual with @saturnvbaby this Friday.

Feeling moved by the words of Francis Weller as he writes that “grief work, ritual, practice, community, and beauty help us hold these times with a soulful bearing.”

It is time to become immense.

We still have some spots left for reiki + restore @sakalacommunity — we’d love to have you there as we commune with softness 🌸

Motherwort • Leonorus cardiaca

The botanical name for motherwort translates to “lionhearted.” Through study and relationship, I’ve come to know her as deep support for the emotional and spiritual heart.

I’ve been feeling her call strongly these past months as I’ve moved through layers of change and grief. Looking back on the past year—and sitting with this exact moment in time—I feel the weight of what has been carried.

2025 arrived with immense hardship, both personal and collective. The Year of the Snake. A year guided by Pluto—the planet of power, death, and rebirth. Little softness or ease to be found.

As we continue to witness and experience the ongoing violence, I feel my nervous system and many others’ bearing the strain. And again, I hear the call of the Mother—for support, wisdom, softness, and care—so I can continue to show up for these times, for myself and for my community.

For me, motherwort offers profound heart and womb support. I can feel her soft embrace every time I commune with her—a deep exhale. These times are designed to exhaust us.

I’m grateful to the earth for her nurturance, so that we may continue to meet this moment with lion hearts—both soft and strong.

As I receive care from the earth, I’m able to offer care to myself and others. And so it goes—the cycle, the infinite web of reciprocity.

Gracias and aho to the plant spirits, our guides, and the well ancestors who walk with us and offer their wisdom during these trying times.

May motherwort medicine find you through the ethers 🌬️

Look at all those smiles and beautiful faces!

I am humbled and in pure joy and gratitude for this awe-inspiring life and to be able to share this beautiful art form of contact improvisation.

This playground where we get to learn and grow together. We make each other better.

We truly feel our birthright to belong and feel loved just as we are. We build deeper roots and cultivate community!

We play and have fun along the way. We have the courage to get it wrong.

We get to lean on each other, share weight and be supported!

We are brought to laughter and tears without reason just the presence of this very moment.

We process through dance & connection and release traumas.

Because of you, me. Because of me, you.

Throughout this beautiful process we truly learn to care for ourselves and each other.

We cultivate that love we thought we were missing.

We learn to dance as each other instead of with each other.

Where the 2 becomes 1 and yet the richness of our multiplicity and polarities still shine through.

We no longer identify as the role. We play the parts, very well knowing we are all just God in Drag like Ram Dass says, we are all walking each other Home!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! To all my students. My friends. My community. My family!

You are invited to come join this beautiful community of ours! All are welcome!
