The Release. 💗

Because if you’re going to say goodbye to your uterus, you might as well throw it one hell of a going-away party. 😂

What started as a cheeky idea to celebrate two upcoming hysterectomies turned into something so much more meaningful.

A day of movement, stillness, laughter, connection, a little magic, and a whole lot of love.

Our bodies carry us through so many chapters. Some beautiful. Some difficult. Some that ask more of us than we ever imagined.

And sometimes, moving into the next chapter deserves a little ceremony.

So Jen and I gathered some incredible women, rolled out the yoga mats, released what no longer serves us, and celebrated everything that still lies ahead.

Because this wasn’t really about saying goodbye to an organ.

It was about honoring where we’ve been, embracing where we’re going, and being reminded just how lucky we are to have women who show up for us along the way.

Here’s to letting go, laughing loudly, loving fiercely, and making room for what’s next. 🥂

One year ago this past Sunday, we brought a little extra pink, purpose, and Pilates magic to Napa at the residences at @stanlyranchauberge 🎀💗

DAY 1 — STRETCH & CONTRACT

DAY 1 of the Freestyle Playground Dance Challenge!

We’re kicking things off with Stretch & Contract.

Put on some music and begin imagining different parts of your body being stretched outward. Start with your fingers and arms, then explore your legs, torso, or other areas of your body.

Take your time. Really feel the stretch and then explore compressing the movement back into your body.

Now bring your attention to the music.

What happens when you change your timing, speed, or texture? Can you stretch slowly and contract quickly? Can one tiny movement in your fingers eventually travel into your whole body?

MUSIC FOR TODAY:

For my exploration, I used “Ponyhof” by Landhouse.

You’re welcome to use the same track or choose any music that inspires you! Part of the exploration is noticing how the music influences your timing, speed, texture, and the way your body naturally wants to move.

And remember—there is NO perfect way to do this.

Freestyle Playground is about exploration, play, curiosity, and the joy of trying something new. Let yourself experiment and see what your body discovers!

Our third and final Yoga + Sound Healing gathering of the year ✨

There’s something really special about creating space to slow down, reconnect, and share an experience like this together.

A huge thank you to Alisse for the warmth and intention she brings to every class. She has such a beautiful way of guiding the room, making everyone feel welcome, grounded, and completely at ease.

And apparently, wellness has no age requirement. 😉 I loved seeing a few of the younger generation join us and get a little taste of yoga + sound healing too.

Thank you to Grace Yoga for creating such a special space in our community. We’re so lucky to have a studio with such an incredible variety of teachers, classes, and experiences right here in West County.

Most of all, thank you to my clients who joined me, and to all of you who continue to support my business through your trust and referrals. These gatherings are one of my favorite ways to give a little something back, and none of it would be possible without you.
