WELCOME TO YOUR MAXXXING ERA 💋
Apparently , we’re maxing everything now so here’s my contribution:
behavior change, saving time, balance eating, and mental health!

You know the things that actually make our lives easier
Not everyone has the same schedule, resources, or goals and that’s OK. What works for one person might not work for someone else.
I’m all for finding ways to move that you enjoy, eating food you love, making time for people who matter, and taking shortcuts when you need them. Real behavior change takes time and you’re allowed to have days where things don’t go as planned that doesn’t mean you have to start all over again. Anyway, if we’re going to Maxxx something let’s make it sustainable.❤️

some recent fall recipes I created during my community health rotations with @jillian_mozitisrd :)

as I’m currently in my internship year of my MS/DI, I’ve had so much exposure to the many areas of the dietetics field. I’ve been led by amazing dietitians who challenge me to think critically and on the spot, utilize all parts of the nutrition care process, and provide individualized nutrition/health education.

Getting to explore my specific interests has helped me create fun projects throughout the field- such as this fall recipe guide!

Enjoy and stay warm <3

¡Hola, me llamo Maribel! Y oficialmente soy su dietista registrada. 🥹🤍

After some vacation time and a couple of months of studying, I took the CDR exam today, and I PASSED! I’m officially a Registered Dietitian! It took me 14 years to get here, but I’m here, and I’m really, really proud of myself. 🥑

Now, it’s time to put everything I’ve studied into practice and share my nutrition knowledge through the work I do and my everyday life. ✨

Your nutrition habits have a ✨personality✨.

From protein-maxxing and wellness optimization, to gut health and intuitive eating, everyone seems to have their own approach to nutrition.

So, which nutrition archetype are you? Personally, I think there’s room for a little bit of all four. 🤍

Drop yours below!

You: “Wait how much protein is in that?”

Personality: Knows their protein target, diligently tracks their macros, loves a good PR, and has somehow found a way to incorporate cottage cheese into everything. 🏋🏾‍♀️

You: “Is the matcha ceremonial grade?”

Personality: Tracks their sleep, researches supplements and peptides for fun, has a membership to infrared sauna, Pilates and/or cold plunge studio, has an extensive morning and bedtime routine. 🧘🏾‍♀️

You: “Have you tried adding more fiber?”

Personality: Fermented foods are a love language, fiber is always on the menu, has kimchi, pickles and/or sauerkraut in their fridge at all times, goes for a walk after meals, they know the difference between prebiotics and probiotics. 🥗

You: “We’re getting dessert, right?”

Personality: Loves a beautiful meal in a beautiful setting, doesn’t assign morality to food, and believes that enjoying what you eat is part of living well. 🍴

I’m calling this Spring Mix Salad Costume

Look closely for the details:
Hard Boiled Egg- made from white paper and a yellow round post-note
Tomatoes- clip in red Christmas flowers
Carrots- orange paper
Broccoli- green streamers

Different colored salad- tissue paper and vinyl green table clothes

All items are from the dollar tree.

Is this the most garden dietitian Halloween Costume you have ever seen?

Started creating on social media almost 10 years ago while I was in nutrition school because I wanted a career I didn’t see a clear path for.

8 years later, I get to talk about food on TV, work with brands I love and call this my job. Take the chance 🤍

I am officially a Registered Dietitian! 🥳

I cannot thank everyone enough who has supported me throughout this journey. After 6 years, 1100+ hours of internships, countless hours of studying, and so many amazing experiences along the way, I finally did it!🥹

I am also excited to share that I have accepted a position as an outpatient eating disorder dietitian! I am beyond grateful to begin my career in an area of dietetics I am so passionate about.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my journey! I am so excited for this next chapter!❤️

MIA, but for a good reason!

I’ve been deep in my Medical Nutrition Therapy clinical rotations, and this is a pretty accurate depiction of what life has looked like lately.

Learning a lot, doing a lot, and getting one step closer to those RD credentials 👩🏾‍⚕️🤍

Forced to be a morning person 😅

🏋🏾‍♀️

I’ve been trying to stay away from protein shakes and bars and focus on whole foods. This is a near nutritionally perfect meal in terms of balanced macronutrients. I would add a bowl of Greek or Icelandic yogurt with honey and wild blueberries to round it out!

Actually a beautiful drive!

I have lived so many lives! I can’t believe I’m interning at a hospital!

Usually 3 drinks always, but close enough!

Your friendly reminder that Dietitians are healthcare/medical professionals. I’m now part of #womeninSTEM 🩺 using both sides of my brain

I’m looking at the whole picture of each patient: medical history, labs, medications, food intake, weight history, physical findings, and beyond to identify nutrition-related concerns and determine the most appropriate intervention 😊

Every floor has an inspirational message, isn’t that cute? This one is my favorite! ✌🏾#fighton

Sometimes I switch it up, but rarely.

I love learning! 🤓

I’m usually drained and feeling delulu at this point in the day 🙃

Decompressing doesn’t last long 🥲

& Goodnight 💤
