More random pics from our first few days of rehearsal through to the start of tech week. Set, lighting, sound (including original music), costumes… just incredible designers all around. What a joy it was to have all this as our murderous playground. @wcplayhouse

There’s a lot I want to say about this experience, these people, and this closing night. But I have hit the wall of tired and am slowly and squeakily sliding all the way down to the floor.

So, for now, I’m just very, very grateful. Now, someone please send this production to Broadway so I can go back and play with all these people again soon. It really is the kind of show I could’ve done for a very long time. It was just so… fun! And I’ll miss it very much.

Pic 3: final selfie taken just before I made my last entrance in the play tonight. That’s my resting grateful face.

Stirring times were had.
Two more shows today before Roger Ackroyd rides off to the big writing room in the sky. Hard to overstate how utterly wonderful this has been…and what it’s meant to me; A gift of a play, a company, a theatre and an experience. Massive and unending thanks to my hero - the brilliant @markshanahan.nyc - and the @wcplayhouse. Being onstage with this group of super-humans has been magical. I’m keeping em all if they’ll have me.
Gosh, I’m SO very glad Hercule Poirot retired to King’s Abbot to grow his vegetables. Cheers!!!

And finally, Video 14/14 of my #igtakeover for The Murder Of Roger Ackroyd and @wcplayhouse! I had a ball making these for the theatre and shout out to the most game and willing cast of actors who jumped in to play with me at every opportunity. So grateful. Come see us! Must close August 1st! Unless someone wants to pick us up and plop us down on Broadway, that is. 😝 #supportlivetheatre #actorslife #backstage #behindthescenes

A shocking murder. A house full of secrets. A mystery only the legendary detective Hercule Poirot can unravel. Set in 1926 England, “Agatha Christie’s The Murder of Roger Ackroyd” follows Poirot as he investigates the killing of a wealthy man, uncovering hidden motives and long-buried secrets among a cast of intriguing suspects. The novel has been hailed as “the greatest whodunit ever written” and cemented Christie’s reputation as the “Queen of Crime.” Dame Agatha’s iconic mystery unfolds on stage with all the elegance, cleverness, and suspense that have made it a timeless favorite.
