Happy Beltane to one and all! 💐 Each year, on this pagan high holiday, we gather in the country to commune with nature, dance with the fairies, and revel in the abundant beauty of this blessed Earth we live on. 🌷🌿 This April was a blur however, and with so much other life going on, as my brilliant friend, @angeliska said: we just couldn’t get our rainbow phallus up this year 🌾 And that’s ok! The spirit is still there, and can be accessed by sticking your bare feet in the dirt, and noticing a freshly blooming flower or the hopeful sound of a songbird singing their tune. This day can also be honored with a protest sign in hand and a chant for workers’ rights in your throat, because May Day is also a day to be recognized! Wherever May 1st finds you, I hope it’s in a place of gratitude for what is, and visioning how much better we can make it for us all🪻

I tried to find a bunch of disposable cameras to put around our wedding tables, but wound up only being able to find a Polaroid. I’m now thankful for that and to the duo at @stephanierogersphotography for snapping some for us.
