Open House NYC unlocks 300 spaces across all five boroughs, and it’s completely free 🗽

As NYers wanting to explore the city more, we hit two spots. At @allisonedenstudios , Allison walked us through her mosaic work and how she got started. I left so inspired, and we’re already asking about workshops. Then @onebutton__ a technology and lighting design firm, showed us circadian lighting and the sound systems they build.

I’d never have stumbled into either of these on my own. Doing this next year and every year after.

Have you done Open House NYC? Drop the spot I should hit next 👇

✨ Some rooms just have magic 🪄 in them. ✨SWATCHED 2026 was one of those nights. From students just finding their voice to seasoned designers at the top of their game, the talent in the room was extraordinary. Watching mood boards come to life against the clock, with so much creativity and ❤️ heart, reminded me why I love this industry.
Returning as a celebrity judge for IDS Long Island with my good friends @georgeoliphant and Allison Eden of @allisonedenstudios, as I have since the very first SWATCHED is always an honor. But the icing on the cake was being able to raise money for the @nationalkidneyfoundation through my participation. This cause is near and dear to my heart. I lost my father to kidney disease when he was just fifty years old, and every dollar raised in his memory means the world to me. 💛
Thank you to @idslongisland, @idsnational, the sponsors, and every designer who participated. What a magical night. 🎨
