RECLAIM THE BLOCK / RECLAMA EL BLOQUE Festival from 12-8pm on Saturday, June 20, 2026!

FAMILIA! Join us for our 3rd annual block party by Segunda Quimbamba Folkloric Center @segundaquimbamba

Free family festival with arts and crafts for all ages, cultural activities, and live performances including poetry, dancing, and music.

We started the Reclaim the Block Festival in 2024 following years of construction, closures, and disruptions on this city block. Our hope for this incredible community is to Reclaim the Block by affirming our sense of place and belonging while ensuring that our collective history as Jersey City’s Puerto Rican diaspora is not lost. Gathering in unity, love, and joy, this street festival celebrates Jersey City’s diverse downtown neighborhoods with Segunda Quimbamba on Second Street.
