Meet Allison Harrell, one of the artists featured in MvVO ART SHOW 2026.

Allison is a multidisciplinary artist working across photography, painting, and mixed media. Her work explores light, energy, perception, and the human experience, creating layered visual narratives that invite viewers to look beyond the surface.

Light is central to her practice—both as an artistic medium and as a metaphor for transformation and connection. Through her work, Allison reflects on art’s ability to shift perspective and help us see ourselves, and the world around us, with renewed awareness.

A glimpse of what’s to come. See the full picture September 21–27 at Waldorf Astoria New York, alongside an exciting roster of contemporary art.

No reservation required. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

My first gallery show! My Song Gravity (A Grounding Meditation) was featured at Resonance at @gathercenter ! It opened on Friday night! It was joyous to see people listen to and respond to my song!

Gravity is all a capella and took me 3 months to record. It was truly a journey of listening to myself and finding harmony within.

There was a beautiful sound bath by resident artist @skysoundyoga .

They also debuted site specific digital immersion including Origin which reflects on the idea that all matter, space, and time were once compressed into a single point.

Thank you @allisonharrellart and @mistiermusic for the opportunity!

Thank you for always showing up and supporting @davidgwils and @creative.response.unit
And great to see you @kateraudenbush!

Go check out the rest of the art and songs at 94 Guernsey St in Brooklyn!

Some were listening deeply last night to my newest sound/music piece Lethe-Medusa, listening at times to the entire 19 minutes composition, despite the crowds surrounding us at the opening of RESONANCE @gathercenter

It was good to reconnect with dear friends, among them sitarist and composer @neelmurgai and public and environmental artist @seemalisapandya who also is part of the RESONANCE show.

Here are some of those listening individuals I was able to capture. The first portrait is of cinematographer @ianvollmer (lovely to meet you Ian) taken by dear friend, artist and filmmaker @paweldaishin

If you see yourself among the rest of the listeners please message me, I would love to know who you are!

Thank you to the amazing team behind RESONANCE @allisonharrellart @mistiermusic and @rblake.miller for putting together a beautiful show.

Stay tuned for a forthcoming release of the entire Lethe-Medusa piece on Batterrie Records!
