A little look at our Sunday night that was part of @alloaballetcompany MacMillan Coffee Morning 💚

ABC raised and incredible £370 for MacMillan Cancer Support 💚

Thanks for letting us be part of it and than you to all my dancers who came along, brought cake and popped some pennies in the pot 💚

And the MacMillan fundraising doesn’t stop there! I’m going along to teach a wee portion of Alva Academy’s Day of Dance for MacMillan 💚 Back to my old stomping grounds for some boot stomping 🤠

We have a little invitation from Alloa Ballet Company for our Scarlet Peach Line Dance family! 👢

Alloa Ballet Company’s Macmillan Coffee weekend is happening next week! There will be coffee, cake and plenty of chat in the ABC waiting area, with a donation tin and QR codes for anyone who would like to donate to Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚

And, of course, if anyone fancies getting their bake on and bringing along a cake or something yummy to share, we’d love that too! 🧁

Mostly, though, we’d just love to have you join us for a cuppa and a bit of community spirit before or after your dancing. 🫖

Sending lots of love from Heather
Founder & Artistic Director
Alloa Ballet Company 🩰

Please feel free to come and join us on Sunday Evening or pop along during the Friday and Saturday as well!

💚💚💚

🩰✨ Another wonderful weekend at @alloaballetcompany ✨🩰

I’ve been photographing these shoots twice a year for so long now that it genuinely feels like a second family 💛

I’ve watched tiny 3-week-old babies come along to support big sisters… then years later end up in front of my camera themselves.

I’ve photographed dancers growing from shy little ballerinas into graceful, confident young women heading off to university 🥹

Every shoot brings:
✨ familiar faces
✨ new faces
✨ beautiful costumes
✨ organised chaos
✨ and LOTS of proud dance mums

And of course… Heather keeps me fuelled with doughnuts, which frankly deserves its own appreciation post 🍩😄

Thank you as always to everyone who makes these shoots such a joy to be part of. I absolutely love capturing this little dance family year after year 💕

2025 ✨ WOW! What can I say.

Every year feels like an uphill battle being a practice owner, and a clinician. 2025 stepped up and continued to challenge me in ways I didn’t know where possible. But I made it through another year with the help of my incredible team. Teamwork makes dream work.

This is a highlight reel with a difference 😅.

This business year included;

✨An introduction to ultrasound course that got me inspired @smugcourses
✨ Sponsoring a new local running event raising money for our community @bonesschildrensfair
✨ Trying something new being on a discussion panel at the Scottish One Day Conference and meeting @zwclinics
✨ Renovating our Falkirk clinic into a new dynamic space
✨I was invited to join @centrefocusedpilates at a podiatry and physio running event
✨ I organised some more in-house training events for my team including First Aid, Vascular training and Wound training
✨Our annual Back to School event with @cleverclogs19falkirk which is always a pleasure
✨Organising our annual Wellness Day on a canal raising funds for @seagulltrustbookshop
✨ Welcoming some amazing new team members @sallybaird8 @harderbetterfasterginger @helen.farquhar.16
✨ Watching @helen.farquhar.16 pass her Foot Health Practitioner Course 🌟
✨ I was also asked to do a wholesome event with @alloaballetcompany taking all things foot health and🩰
✨ Set up a Lipoedema Support Group for our local community, hopefully more of this in 2026
✨Our annual @trusselluk Foodbank appeals for our local community
✨ Started organising free fruit for our team every week 🍇

And of course welcoming so many incredible patients to the clinic helping them stay mobile and active 🙌🏻

What you don’t see is a year of change, uncertainty, health challenges, difficult conversations, a lot of late nights, tears and self-doubt.

Thank you to everyone who’s helped me navigate 2025.

Here’s to a healthy, happy, peaceful 2026 ✌🏻 🕊️

🎄✨ Christmas at Alloa Ballet Company always brings the festive magic… and this year, a special guest 👀

Parents — can you spot your dancer in this reel?
And more importantly… did you spot The Grinch lurking about? 😏🎄
(Yes, that is the Ballet Principal — and yes, she committed fully 😂)

I absolutely love kicking off the festive season with these shoots — sparkle, tutus, music, laughter… and the odd donut to keep us all going 🍩

Comment 💃 if you’ve spotted your dancer… and 🎄 if you caught the Grinch!
